Millwall failed to secure a club-record eighth consecutive away win as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Ipswich in an entertaining game at Portman Road.
Jake Cooper's 27th-minute header gave the Lions the lead before two goals from Martyn Waghorn in two second-half minutes put Town ahead.
George Saville's excellent left-footed strike drew Millwall level again on the hour mark and, despite a late flurry of chances, the visitors were unable to find a winner.
The result meant Millwall remained just outside the Sky Bet Championship play-off places, while Ipswich, who this week announced manager Mick McCarthy would leave the club at the end of the season, stayed 13th.
Adam Webster's diagonal ball for Town was beautifully brought down by Waghorn early on, but he failed to beat Jordan Archer in two attempts.effort.
Ipswich - without a goal in their previous five home games - continued to threaten the Millwall goal and Cole Skuse's close-range cut-back was cleared in front of the waiting Waghorn.
The Lions took the lead against the run of play in the 27th minute when Ben Marshall found space on the left and his cross was headed home by centre-back Cooper.
The goal gave Millwall a lift and six minutes later they could have extended their lead but Saville blazed over at full stretch from Jed Wallace's cross.
Ipswich levelled in the 52nd minute. Half-time substitute Ben Folami fluffed the rebound after Skuse's left-footed strike had been saved by Archer, but the ball was bundled over the line by Waghorn in a scramble.
The Town striker gave the Blues the lead two minutes later after he intercepted Cooper's poor back-pass and rounded Archer to side-foot home.
The Lions equalised on the hour mark after Wallace's right-wing cross found its way to Saville left of the penalty area, and he drilled the ball superbly past Bartosz Bialkowski.
Lee Gregory missed an excellent chance to put Millwall 3-2 ahead when he fired high and wide after finding space in the box in the 78th minute.
The visitors continued their search for a winner and, after Gregory's effort was saved at point-blank range by Bialkowski, Saville struck the near post.
The game was still flowing from end to end in the closing stages and Bialkowksi pulled off a stunning low save to deny Mahlon Romeo in the 90th minute.
Saville then pulled wide before Bialkowski was called upon again in stoppage time, this time saving from Wallace, as the Lions were frustrated.
