Arkadiusz Milik double earns Napoli win over Dynamo Kiev

Arkadiusz Milik was Napoli's hero as they came from behind to beat 10-man Dynamo Kiev 2-1 in Ukraine.

Milik's headed first-half double was enough to seal a precious Champions League Group B away win and set up the Italians perfectly for their home clash with Benfica in a fortnight's time.

Denys Garmash had put the home side ahead, but Milik's quick-fire contribution proved decisive, particularly after Dynamo midfielder Serhiy Sydorchuk was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

It took Dynamo 26 minutes to get themselves in front and they did so when Garmash ran on to Viktor Tsygankov's header and fired past Jose Reina into the bottom corner.

However, the lead lasted just 10 minutes and Napoli launched a concerted fightback which saw them level when Milik headed home from Faouzi Ghoulam's cross.

The visitors finished the half the stronger with Dries Mertens prominent, and he had a hand in a dramatic conclusion when his stoppage-time header from Jose Callejon's cross was blocked and Milik converted the rebound from close range.

Napoli were content to defend and try to hit the hosts on the counter as the second half unfolded, and Dynamo's hopes of working their way back into the game were dealt a significant blow when Sydorchuk, who had been booked before the break, picked up a second caution and was sent off with 23 minutes remaining.

The 10 men still had a chance to equalise when defender Domagoj Vida met Andriy Yarmolenko's 77th-minute cross, but he sent his header wide of the target.
