Lyon tighten grip on fourth place in Ligue 1 with win at Metz

Lyon tightened their grip on fourth place in Ligue 1 with a 3-0 win at Metz, a game where all the goals came in the second half.

Their leading scorer Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring on the hour, before both substitutes got on the scoresheet.

Jordan Ferri doubled the advantage in the 88th minute, shortly after replacing Maxime Gonalons, before fellow substitute Corentin Tolisso netted in the 90th minute.

The three points take Lyon seven points clear of fifth-placed Marseille, while Metz remain seven points above the relegation zone.
