Montpellier as good as safe after thumping win

Ten-man Montpellier all but guaranteed their Ligue 1 status in an entertaining 4-1 win against bottom club Troyes.
Jerome Roussillon got La Pallaide's afternoon off to a perfect start on 14 minutes only for Stephane Darbion to level matters moments later, sliding in at the back post following some good work by Chris Mavinga.
Mathieu Saunier deflected Souleymane Camara's header into his own goal and Jonas Martin's emphatic finish ensured the hosts had a two-goal lead at the break, despite their first half ending disappointingly when Vitorino Hilton was shown a straight red card for a nasty challenge on Chaouki Ben Saada.
That man disadvantage did little to slow Montpellier as Camara added his name to the scoresheet, pouncing after Mathieu Dreyer saved Casimir Ninga's initial shot to round off a successful evening.
