Tom Bradshaw scores again but misses late chance for Walsall in draw

Walsall top-scorer Tom Bradshaw grabbed his eighth goal of the season but missed a stoppage-time sitter with a chance to win the game, and Crewe escaped with a 1-1 draw at the Banks's Stadium.
On his return after injury, Bradshaw had give the Saddlers a first-half lead, but in the final minute of added time he volleyed over the bar from 10 yards form a chance created by Romaine Sawyers.
Crewe, who won at Shrewsbury last week, had to withstand tremendous pressure before hanging onto their hard-earned point.
Walsall took the lead in the fourth minute when Anthony Forde's inswinging corner was neatly headed into the roof of the net by Bradshaw who missed the midweek cup tie against Chelsea with a thigh injury.
But Crewe hit back to equalise on 18 minutes after Paul Downing conceded a free-kick taken by David Fox. The home defence failed to clear th danger and big central defender Ben Nugent scored with a firm, low, drive from the edge of the box.
Walsall dominated the second half, but the excellent Nugent and his defenders somehow survived, Jason Demetriou hitting the bar with a terrific drive on 79 minutes.
