Almeria 3-0 Granada

Almeria gave their hopes of beating the drop a timely lift with a 3-0 victory over fellow-strugglers Granada on Saturday.
Sergi Barjuan's side were without a win since February 8, but two goals from Thomas Partey plus a Javier Espinosa strike made sure of the points which lift them out of the bottom three in the Primera Division.
Granada, however, remain one place off the foot of the table and some four points adrift of safety.
The opening few minutes at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos were not without action, with Diego Mainz heading a corner from Piti narrowly over the bar as Granada caught the first glimpse of goal.
Almeria's response was swift and Espinosa benefited from a cross from the left from Thievy Bifouma but his shot was deflected wide of the net.
The nerves then seemed to kick in for both sides and it was not until the end of the half when Almeria began to take the game by the scruff of its neck.
Granada goalkeeper Roberto was called into action to keep out two shots in as many minutes from Wellington, but his team's luck ran out moments before the half-time whistle sounded when the visitors were caught napping on a corner allowing Angel Trujillo to play the ball on for Thomas to stab home.
The lead was then doubled by Espinosa on the hour mark, with the midfielder controlling the ball on his chest before smashing a shot into the right corner as Almeria strengthened their grip on proceedings.
Granada were poor in comparison and their misery was complete three minutes from time when Thomas scored his second of the night, hitting home on the rebound after Roberto had pushed away the Ghanaian's initial strike.
