Fraser at the double for Montrose

Gary Fraser's double helped Montrose to a 3-0 victory over Arbroath in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two.Montrose opened the scoring after 20 minutes, with Fraser neatly converting into the top corner after Ross Campbell's pinpoint delivery. Fraser soon doubled his tally before the interval as he latched onto the end of Ross McCord's ball before dispatching it past Allan Fleming.Ross Campbell made it three when he charged into the box before firing low into the corner, giving the home side a comfortable advantage with more than 30 minutes remaining at Links Park.Fraser squandered the opportunity to achieve a hat-trick as the ball fell to the Gable Endies forward inside the box and he controlled, lacking composure as he fired over the cross bar. David Gold came close to netting a late consolation for the Smokies as Paul Hegarty's men preserved their clean sheet as well as a first league win of the season.
