Breakers finish season unbeaten at home

Kristine Lilly scored in the 51st minute to give

the Boston Breakers a 1-0 victory over the San Jose CyberRays on

Saturday night.

Lilly has a goal or assist in a WUSA-record 10 straight games.

The Breakers (6-8-7) also became the first team in the two-year

history of the league to finish a season unbeaten at home, going

5-0-5 at Nickerson Field.

They are a league-worst 1-8-2 on the road, however, which will

keep Boston out of the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

The CyberRays (8-8-5), who won the WUSA championship last year,

were eliminated from playoff contention when Atlanta beat

Philadelphia 2-0 earlier Saturday.
