Polokwane City unveil coach Jozef Vukusic and Mohammed Anas among new signings

South African Premier Soccer League side Polokwane City have unveiled Slovakian Jozef Vukusic as their new coach, as well as announcing the arrival of seven new players on Wednesday.

The new arrivals include Ghana striker Mohammed Anas, who was with Free State Stars last season but made it known in January he was keen to depart the club.

Vukusic has most recently been working as director of football at Latvian side Spartaks Jurmala, but has also coached in Germany, Libya and Kazakhstan, as well as his homeland.

The 53-year-old also had a brief spell with then South African National First Division side FC Cape Town in 2010, overseeing a famous 2-0 victory over giants Kaizer Chiefs in the country's Nedbank Cup.

Aside from Anas, who has also played for Maritzburg United in the PSL, the club also announced the signings of relatively unknown lower league players Lehlohonolo Nhlapo, Themba Chauke, Khayalethu Mjoli, Teboho Kalake, Bongani Manavhela and Msekeli Mvalo.
