Mexico to play March friendlies in U.S. vs. Czech Republic, Greece

Mexico will open their 2020 international season with friendlies against Czech Republic on March 26 in Charlotte, N.C., and will then face Greece on March 29 in Arlington, Texas.

The Mexico Federation (FMF) had previously confirmed the venues and dates, but on Tuesday, the rivals were revealed for the event,  which was billed as Mexico's U.S. Tour.

Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium last hosted Mexico on June 23, 2019 when they defeated Martinique 3-2 in a first-round Gold Cup match attended by nearly 60,000 fans.

El Tri have played eight games at Arlington's AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys with an average of 80,000 fans per match. The match is being played as part of a four-year agreement, which is now in its second year,  with the Dallas Cowboys, FC Dallas and the Dallas Sports Commission.
