Manchester United appoint Radoslaw Kucharski as European scout

Manchester United have appointed Radoslaw Kucharski from Legia Warsaw as a scout to search for talent in Central and Eastern Europe.

Kucharski was the Polish club's director of scouting and is the latest addition in the reorganisation of United's recruitment process. The Pole is credited with bringing through defender Krystian Bielik, 19, who Arsenal signed from Legia in January 2015 and made captain of their FA Youth Cup team.

Kucharski told Legia's official website: "I have had a great time at Legia Warsaw, but it is time to take a step forward.

"It is a great honour that Manchester United are interested in me. Talks took place practically from June and finally to join on Feb. 1."

United promoted Marcel Bout to the position of head of global scouting, working alongside chief scout Jim Lawlor, in October when the revamp began taking shape.
