Pep Guardiola has suggested defender Eric Garcia could still leave Manchester City for Barcelona before the transfer deadline.

Garcia, 19, is wanted by the Spanish giants and has told City he will not sign an extension to his contract which is due to end next summer. Guardiola has added centre-backs Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias to his squad this summer and admits that Garcia's future is uncertain with just three days to go before the transfer window closes.
"Today he's our player and on Monday finishes the transfer window so I don't know, I don't know exactly what is going to happen," Guardiola told a news conference on Friday. "I know he wants to live there, I know Barcelona wants him but I think there's no deal between the clubs. This is what I know right now, so what is going to happen I don't know."
Guardiola takes his team to face Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United on Saturday looking to bounce back from the shock 5-2 defeat to Leicester City.

City still have injury problems with strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines while John Stones is recovering from a knock that ruled him against Leicester.
"I know we are still a little bit away from the best for many reasons but it is what it is," said Guardiola. "We lost against Leicester not because of a lack of physical condition or because we don't have several players or whatever. When you concede three penalties the way we conceded it's difficult to win the game. We have to look at ourselves and, of course, we are still not where we should be for the reasons of the time, the injuries, the [coronavirus], for many many reasons but it is what it is.
"If we start to complain we're not going to make a step forward and the big clubs, if they want to try to achieve good things they have to do those steps forward in the positions and the situation that we have."
