LIVERPOOL, England -- Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that there are no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion and said he would not rotate his squad with the EFL Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur in mind.
Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum missed Monday night's game against Manchester United with injury. However, the Dutchman was pictured back in training with his teammates on Wednesday.
Adam Lallana was a doubt for the game against Jose Mourinho's side but came on as a second-half substitute at Anfield.
Speaking at a news conference at Melwood on Thursday afternoon, Klopp told reporters that he has a "big squad" to pick from on the weekend should no problems arise.
"Actually, in this moment, there's nothing really to moan about," Klopp said. "We had a few kicks and things like this in the game and still felt after the game, of course.
"But nobody is ruled out at the moment and Gini is on the way back so that's good. If nothing happens today or tomorrow then we have quite a big squad to make the choice.
On Lallana he added: "It's all good with Adam and until now this week he could train properly and everything is good."
Meanwhile, the Reds was adamant that his squad selection for the meeting with Tony Pulis' will not be made with future games in mind.
Liverpool face Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, but Klopp believes it would be disrespectful to the Baggies should that tie affect his thinking.
"No," Klopp bluntly responded when asked the question. "Not at all.
"That would be a lack of respect to West Brom. How could I do this? I have no idea who is ready for Tuesday. I'm not interested in this moment, so I'm only thinking about West Brom."
