Juventus will have to play their next home Serie A fixture against Genoa on Oct. 20 with part of their Curva Sud seating section closed after racial insults were once again heard during their 3-1 win over Napoli last weekend. In addition, the Bianconeri will have to pay a €10,000 fine. According to the Lega Serie A's weekly disciplinary report, repeated remarks "of a territorially insulting manner coming from the large majority of fans in the specified sector, and which could be heard throughout the stadium" were picked up by Lega officials. "Furthermore, in the sixth minute of the second half, a chant of a clearly racially insulting nature aimed at Napoli player [Kalidou] Koulibaly," was also heard and since it was not the first time the same player and group of fans had been subject to such chants in Turin, the "first and second rings of the Tribuna Sud must be closed for one match." During the same game, a Napoli fan managed to remove a seat and throw it into an area of the Allianz Stadium occupied by Juventus fans. As a result, they have been fined €15,000, which is a reduced fine taking into account the club's endeavours to assist the police and both identify and arrest the person who threw the seat. In 2015, Juve's Curva Sud was closed for one game due to crowd disturbances in their derby clash with Torino.
