The Indian Super League has postponed yet another match -- Monday's game between Hyderabad FC and Jamshedpur FC due to more COVID-19 cases inside the bio bubble.

The league said in a statement, "Hero Indian Super League (ISL) announces the postponement of Match No. 63 between Hyderabad FC and Jamshedpur FC scheduled to be played today, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim."

"The decision has been taken in consultation with the League's medical team taking into account the inability of Jamshedpur FC to field a team. The League will look to rearrange the fixture to a later date. The health and safety of all personnel in various bubbles remains our priority, and the League & Clubs will continue to monitor the situation and act accordingly."

This is the third consecutive match to be called off, with Saturday's match between ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC, as well as Sunday's match between Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC, also postponed. In total, four games have been called off this season so far due to positive cases.

Jamshedpur FC boss Owen Coyle had noted that his side had not trained for the past six days in his pre-match press conference. It's also been reported that in addition to players from Jamshedpur FC, members of the squads of ATK Mohun Bagan, FC Goa, Bengaluru FC and Odisha FC have also contracted the virus.
