ISL 2021-22: Kerala Blasters FC vs Mumbai City FC postponed due to COVID-19 cases

The Indian Super League has postponed yet another match -- Sunday's game between Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC due to more COVID-19 cases inside the bio bubble.

The league said in a statement, "the decision has been taken in consultation with the League's medical team after it was assessed Kerala Blasters FC do not have the requisite number of players available for the match."

"The League will work closely with the medical experts to monitor and ensure the safety of all the players and support staff in the squad and others involved."

Saturday's match between ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC was also postponed. In total, three games have been called off this season so far due to positive cases.

It has been reported that five players from the ATK Mohun Bagan camp have been tested positive and players have remained in isolation for the last six days.

Apart from ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters, FC Goa and Odisha FC also have positive cases in their squads.
