Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe has apologised to the French champions' supporters via social media for his straight red card at the end of Saturday's 4-2 win away at Nimes in Ligue 1 on Saturday. The France international, who was booked earlier in the game, was directly dismissed after clashing with Teji Savanier. Although Mbappe was unrepentant in his post-match comments, he did publish an apology to the PSG fans via Twitter on Sunday and praised Les Parisiens' ultras for their support at Stade des Costieres. "My dear Parisien supporters," wrote the 19-year-old. "I wish to apologise to you for my actions on Saturday and my reaction that soured our collective victory. "However, I also thank the Collective Ultras Paris for their support again -- it was huge. Ici c'est Paris!" PSG's win over Nimes was eventful with Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani joining Mbappe in scoring for Thomas Tuchel's men, with the Argentina international managing his goal direct from a first half corner. As well as scoring, Neymar trolled the home fans by pretending to cry in front of a banner calling him a "crybaby." Nimes fought back from 2-0 down to 2-2 before a late show of force from PSG. Savanier, who later clashed with Mbappe, completed the temporary fightback from the penalty spot after Antonin Bobichon had halved the deficit with a fine strike from outside the box.
