Chelsea Ladies secured the Women's Super League title and a domestic double by beating Bristol City 2-0 on Tuesday.
Drew Spence headed visitors Chelsea ahead in the first half, and Jonna Andersson fired in a late second goal as Chelsea moved an unassailable nine points clear at the top of the table.
For manager Emma Hayes' team, the victory meant they added the league silverware to the Women's FA Cup they won against Arsenal at Wembley on May 5.
As her teammates celebrated their success, Chelsea captain Katie Chapman told BT Sport: "It's great to be in this team. You can see what it means to the team. We performed really well this year and I think we deserved another double."
Chapman, who last week announced she will be retiring at the end of the season, added: "To go out with two trophies is unreal. I love this team and I love this club and I think we're deserving of that. Hopefully we can go the whole [league] season unbeaten -- so we've still got one game to go [against Liverpool on Sunday].
"I've loved ending my career at Chelsea. These girls are great and our team is fantastic. What an honour for me to play in a team like this and to do the double with them.
"I'm sure we can celebrate a little bit (tonight). But we have got one more game and we do want to go unbeaten -- that's me being competitive -- so we'll focus on that game too."
Goal scorer Spence said: "We were happy when we won the FA Cup but it wouldn't have been a complete season without winning the league."
Hayes, who was absent as she prepares for the birth of twins, wrote on Twitter: "Get in. A pleasure to watch that from home. Champions of England, we know who we are. Love you girls x"
Chelsea striker Fran Kirby won the Professional Footballers' Association and Football Writers' Association women's player of the year awards this term.
Kirby told BT Sport after Chelsea collected the WSL trophy: "This is something we set out for at the beginning of the season. We wanted to win as much as we can and we've got the team that can do it."
She called the team display against Bristol City "a bit average, but we won", and added: "I'm really delighted with the way I've been but the most important thing is that we've lifted that trophy."
She had a message for boss Hayes, saying: "We wish her well and we're glad we could get the job done now for her and she didn't have to wait and panic until Sunday. Everyone sends their best and we're just glad we could win the trophy for her."
