TOP STORY: Inter join battle for Eriksen
Inter Milan are considering a move for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Denmark international recently said this summer could be the right time to leave Spurs -- and Real Madrid appears the most likely destination. However, with Los Blancos already investing heavily this summer, they could be priced out of a move with Tottenham reportedly looking for £100m.
And Inter are keep an eye on proceedings in case they see an opening. Last season, they were looking to bring in a big-name midfielder, with Luka Modric and Arturo Vidal their principle targets.
New Inter boss Antonio Conte is keen to bring in a big-name in an attempt to close the gap on Juventus.

22.27 BST: We'll close Thursday's live edition of Transfer Talk with some news coming out of China. "There is now an offer on the table and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well." Those are the words of Dalian Yifang's Yannick Carrasco, Metro cites Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad as reporting, and the story states that the offer for the former Atletico Madrid midfielder is from Arsenal.
21.40 BST: Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen have asked about the availability of Paris Saint-Germain and Germany midfielder Julian Draxler, Get French Football cites L'Equipe as reporting. The report states that the 25-year-old prefers to remain at the Parc des Princes.
20.53 BST: Tottenham want to bring Everton left-back Lucas Digne to North London, but the Toffees are demanding Danny Rose and cash in exchange for a player they paid £18m for from Barcelona last summer, writes the Mirror.
20.06 BST: Manchester United have inquired about Leicester City and England centre-back Harry Maguire, but now believe that the 26-year-old has his heart set on a move to Manchester City, according to the Mail.
19.19 BST: Paris Saint-Germain have become favourites to sign Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt due to the efforts of former sporting director Leonardo, who is set to return to the French champions after nearly six years away, sources have told ESPN FC.
18.32 BST: If Paul Pogba does end up at Real Madrid or back with Juventus this summer, the Independent reports that Manchester United could turn to 22-year-old Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans, who impressed during his six-month loan with Leicester City this past spring.
17.45 BST: Manchester United are preparing a €95m bid for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, the Mirror cites Corriere dello Sport as reporting, in response to reports in Italy that Maurizio Sarri wants Juventus to sign the 27-year-old Senegal international.
16.58 BST: Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has said Mario Gotze is looking to leave the club.
"We have heard rumours from England for years," he told Sport Bild. "As always, we are relaxed.
"Gotze has not approached us with a request to move. We are enjoying good exchanges with his father and advisor.
"At the beginning of the new season, we will sit down together (to discuss a new deal)."
16.13 BST: Juventus are interested in signing Manchester City right-back Danilo, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Brazil international could come in as a replacement for Joao Cancelo, who is a target for...City.
Danilo's trophy haul includes to Liga Nos titles in Portugal, a La Liga title, two Champions Leagues, a UEFA Super Cup, a FIFA Club World Cup, two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups. Oh, and two more titles won in his native Brazil.
15.41 BST: Eden Hazard is set to sign for Real Madrid after Chelsea accepted an offer of £88.5 million plus significant add-ons that could take the deal to the £130m mark, sources have told ESPN FC.
Though the initial fee for Hazard is significantly below Chelsea's original £130m asking price, it is understood that when realistic bonuses and additional payments are factored in, the value of Madrid's offer will reach that figure.
Madrid's chief executive, Jose Angel Sanchez, travelled to London at the start of this week in the hopes of getting a deal for Hazard over the line, and both clubs reached the outline of an agreement on Thursday morning.
15.02 BST: It is being reported in L'Equipe that Inter Milan Liverpool have submitted €70 million bids for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
Pepe scored 22 goals for Ligue 1 runners-up Lille last season.
14.28 BST: Arsenal have made a €25 million bid to land PSG defender Thomas Meunier, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Belgium international is considering his future and is also a target for Manchester United.
13.59 BST: Manchester City are looking at bringing in "homegrown" players to maximise their squad depth, sources have told ESPN FC.
Leicester defenders Harry Maguire and Ben Chilwell as well as Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka have all been tracked ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Vincent Kompany's departure at the end of his contract frees up one spot while defenders Danilo and Nicolas Otamendi could also leave this summer.
13.27 BST: New York Cosmos owner Rocco B. Commisso has finalised the acquisition of Fiorentina.
The American's first call of business will be to try to secure the long-term future of Italy international Federico Chiesa, who is a target for both Inter Milan and Juventus.
12.58 BST: Bayern Munich have withdrawn from the race to sign Matthijs de Ligt, a source close to the club has told ESPN FC.
The German champions had been encouraged to pursue the 19-year-old Ajax captain after initial positive talks but recently informed the centre-back in a telephone conversation that more pressing priorities in the transfer market ruled out a bid for him.
Manchester United and Barcelona are thought to be leading the chase for the Netherlands international, while Juventus are also interested.
12.14 BST: Chelsea are set to finalise the return of Petr Cech to Stamford Bridge in a technical role, sources have told ESPN FC.
Cech will assume some of the responsibilities once held by former technical director Michael Emenalo, who has not been formally replaced by Chelsea since resigning in November 2017.
Chelsea hope that Cech's return will bring more coherence to a decision-making structure that has appeared disjointed at times since Emenalo's departure, as well as reassuring disillusioned fans about the club's broader direction.
Informal talks about a role for Cech at Stamford Bridge began several months ago, but out of respect to their former goalkeeper Chelsea were determined to wait until the end of the season to step up their efforts to bring him back.
11.09 BST: Ilkay Gundogan is confident he will continue to play alongside compatriot Leroy Sane next season.
The Manchester City winger has been linked with a switch to Bayern Munich, who want to reinforce their wings after both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery left the club.
But Gundogan, his Germany and City teammate, told reporters on Wednesday: "I'd like to think that he'll stay. And I'd be very happy about this."
He added: "It doesn't seem like he wants to leave -- and the club is not desperate to give him away too."
10.32 BST: Milan and Juventus will have to look elsewhere for a new manager after Simone Inzaghi signed a contract extension to remain as Lazio boss until 2021.

10.05 BST: Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has said that, despite recently signing a new contract, he only wants to stay at the club if they match his ambition.
Oblak, 26, signed a new deal which ties him to the club until 2023 last April, but a source told ESPN FC soon afterwards that the Manchester United target's long-term future at the Wanda Metropolitano was dependent on the team competing for the biggest trophies.
"I signed a new contract, but that does not change anything," Oblak told Ekipa. "I will stay at Atletico as long as their ambitions match mine.
09.41 BST: Schalke 04 are among three clubs hoping to sign Everton's Jonjoe Kenny, 22, German outlet Bild report.
The right-back only made nine Premier League appearances and Schalke, strapped for cash following a dismal season, want to take Kenny on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
The Bundesliga side are competing with Crystal Palace and Burnley, Bild added.
09.05 BST: Manchester United are reportedly close to completing their first summer signing as Swansea City winger Daniel James has arrived at the club's training ground for a medical.
The Daily Telegraph is among the UK outlets to report that James, 21, has left the Wales squad to complete his proposed to Old Trafford, which sources told ESPN FC last month could be worth £15m.
James scored two goals in 20 games in the Championship this season and has been capped twice by Wales, who are managed by Solskjaer's former United teammate Ryan Giggs.
Sources have told ESPN FC that Solskjaer is looking to strengthen every area of his squad over the summer, with a forward, defender and at least one midfielder his priorities.
08.40 BST: Atletico Madrid have signed striker Nicolas Ibanez from their Mexican club Atletico de San Luis.
Argentina born Ibanez, 24, scored 22 goals as Atletico de San Luis gained promotion from Mexico's second tier last season, and on July 1 will join Diego Simeone's side for an undisclosed fee.
The Spanish outfit bought the Mexican club in 2017, in a franchise agreement similar to previous relationships with French club Lens from July 2016 to December 2017 and Indian outfit Atletico Kolkata from 2014 to 2017.
08.20 BST: Young Real Madrid centre-back Javi Sanchez could join Real Valladolid to get regular top flight football next season, according to Marca.
Tough-tackling Bernabeu youth product Sanchez, 22, played five games for the first team during 2018/19, while also featuring 24 times for Castilla in the Segunda B third tier.
Valladolid could be looking for a new centre-back this summer with Fernando Calero having been linked with Arsenal back in the January transfer window. And the Blanquivioletas' president Ronaldo retains close links with Madrid from his past at the Bernabeu.
08.00 BST: Manchester United are braced for a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for David De Gea after the French side announced Gianluigi Buffon will leave the club this summer, sources have told ESPN FC.
De Gea has a year left on his contract and negotiations over a new long-term deal have stalled. United have privately insisted they will not cash in this summer but there are fears their resolve will be severely tested by a big-money move from PSG.
Buffon will leave the Ligue 1 champions a year after arriving from Juventus, leaving coach Thomas Tuchel with just Alphonse Areola as his senior goalkeeper. Buffon and Areola shared goalkeeping duties last season.
De Gea has also been linked with Juventus and Real Madrid but sources have told ESPN FC that United fear PSG pose the most serious threat. There are doubts about whether Juventus could afford the deal while there is a belief at Old Trafford that Real Madrid's transfer priorities lie elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Marca claims that Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas was told three weeks ago by Madrid that he was no longer part of manager Zinedine Zidane's plans for next season, and PSG swiftly moved to open discussions with Los Blancos about a deal to bring the Costa Rican to the French capital.
Despite the continued presence of France international goalkeeper Alphonse Areola at the club, PSG are confident they can provide incoming Navas with enough playing time to keep him happy, Marca reports.
PAPER TALK (by James Capps): Napoli may move for duo following Lozano frustration
Serie A runners-up Napoli have so-far been thwarted in their attempts to sign PSV winger Hirving Lozano, and Calciomercato claims Carlo Ancelotti's side have now set their sights on two surprise alternatives.
The Italian publication reckons the Napoleans are interested in a move for Wolverhampton winger Adama Traore, and are also keen on a deal for Atlanta United forward Ezequiel Barco.
Traore has had a frustrating season in the Premier League, going without a goal in just over 1,200 minutes of game time, and could be available for around €15 million this summer.
Barco, meanwhile, has earned rave reviews in his nine appearances for Argentina's under-20 side, and was part of the Atlanta side that won its first ever MLS Cup crown in 2018. The 20-year-old could be picked up for €20m.

- Napoli are set to complete a deal for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, despite the Colombian failing to make enough appearances during his spell at the Italian club to trigger an automatic permanent deal. A transfer is expected to be completed for £3.1 million, according to The Sun.
- The Telegraph claims Everton are confident of completing a deal to sign on-loan Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes on a permanent deal, after Tottenham Hotspur pulled out of a move for the Portugal international. The Toffees are also believed to have also offered full-back Leighton Baines a new one-year contract at Goodison Park.
- Newly-promoted Aston Villa are set to complete the permanent signing of Wolverhampton defender Kortney Hause, after triggering a clause in the 23-year-old's loan deal. Hause made a dozen appearances for Villa to help the club to promotion, and will cost around £3 million, according to The Express & Star.
