          TOP STORY: City close to Bravo deal with Hart set to exit

          Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been tipped to raid former club Barcelona for one of their two goalkeepers this summer, and with Marc-Andre ter Stegen apparently having won the battle to become Luis Enrique's first choice this season, Claudio Bravo looks set to make a move to the Etihad Stadium.

          Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo cited a close source to Bravo as saying the deal is "almost done" earlier on Monday, and the Manchester Evening News also said that City are in advanced negotiations for the 33-year-old Chile international.

          Now, Catalan newspaper SPORT is reporting that Barcelona have accepted a bid of €25 million from Manchester City for the goalkeeper and that he will fly to Manchester to complete the deal on Thursday. The paper claims that he will then return to Barcelona to compete in the team's La Liga opener against Real Betis due to an injury to Ter Stegen.

          What does this all mean for Joe Hart? The England No. 1 was left out of the starting XI for the opening day win over Sunderland and has been told he can leave if a replacement is signed, according to the Daily Mirror.

          And who might be in the frame to sign the 29-year-old? The Mirror reports that Everton "would love to make him their first-choice keeper," while Europa League winners Sevilla are also reported to be interested.

          16.08 BST: Joao Mario's expected arrival at Inter Milan could lead to the San Siro club allowing Marcelo Brozovic moving to Juventus.

          However, according to the Gazzetto dello Sport, the Nerazzurri only want to sell to a foreign club and not a Serie A rival.

          14.51 BST: Former Manchester United left-back Alex Buttner could be on his way back to England his agent has claimed, in quotes reported by Voetbal International. Aleksandar Bursac says an unnamed Championship club would like to sign the 27-year-old Dutchman.

          Buttner spent two season at Old Trafford and won the Premier League in 2012/13 before departing for Dynamo Moscow in 2014. Since January he has been on loan with Anderlecht.

          14.37 BST: AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella says he does not want to sell Carlos Bacca and Mattia De Sciglio but accepts the decision may be taken out of his hands.

          "I like having good players and [Bacca] and De Sciglio are in that category," Montella said. "I don't want to make any changes just a fortnight before the end of the transfer window [but] I'm just the coach and I have to accept the club's wishes with the maximum serenity and seriousness."

          13.51 BST: DONE DEAL Everton have signed Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace on a five-year deal. The move is reported to have cost the Toffees £25m.

          "I'm looking forward to putting on the Everton shirt," Bolasie told Everton's official website. "This is a big club and I know all about it from having played against them over the years.

          "For me, it was a no-brainer to come here. But now that I've come to Everton, the job is not done. I've got to work hard and feel my way in. I'm ready and up for the challenge.

          "It's not about the money for me. It's about looking at the ambition of the club and where they are trying to get to. I just like to play football."

          "I just like to play football and it's going to be really interesting to learn from someone like Ronald Koeman, who was obviously a top centre-back as a player and he played with some of the best players in the world.

          13.43 BST: Chelsea have a DONE DEAL to announce. Young goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has left the club to join Wycombe on loan.

          The 22-year-old was involved in the preseason tour of the U.S. this summer but will now move to League Two on a temporary basis.

          The Star reports Mauricio Pochettino would bid £13m for the 27-year-old Portugal international.

          12.31 BST: Asked about Crystal Palace's interest in West Brom's Saido Berahino, Alan Pardew said: "Any striker that is available -- and I believe he isn't at the moment -- is of interest to us, but our net is much wider than the Premier League.

          "I don't think it's essential [to sign a striker before next week's fixture at Tottenham], because we might have to be patient with the window, and sometimes like dominoes, one falls elsewhere and it affects somebody else.

          "There's a lot of movement to happen in the Premier League: definitely from the noises I'm hearing."

          11.37 BST: Steven Defour has travelled to England to undergo a medical ahead of a move to Burnley, sources have told ESPN FC.

          Defour will become Burnley's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Chartlon duo Nick Pope and Johan Gudmundsson and Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan on loan.

          11.21 BST: More free agent news. Former Crystal Palace, Reading and Watford defender Adrian Mariappa could join Hull, Sky Sports are reporting.

          11.12 BST: Former Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is training with Rangers after becoming a free agent, according to the Scottish Sun.

          Senderos, 31, has played for AC Milan, Everton, Fulham, Valencia and Aston Villa.

          10.52 BST: Thibaut Courtois has expressed regret that "misconstrued" comments have made supporters question his commitment to the club.

          "I am very happy at Chelsea and want to stay," Courtois said. "I will try to show in every game that I am one of the best keepers in the world.

          "It has put me and Chelsea in a bad light, that's not good. I have never said I wanted to leave or anything. When it looks like I'm being put against the supporters, it's not nice."

          10.39 BST: Stoke defender Marc Wilson watched Bournemouth's opening-day defeat against Manchester United ahead of an expected transfer to the Cherries.

          Sky Sports are reporting Wilson will sign a two-year today.

          10.25 BST: It is becoming increasingly obvious which players are free to leave Manchester City. Pep Guardiola has left Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri and Eliaquim Mangala out of City's squad for the Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest.

          10.11 BST: Christian Eriksen appeared to be referencing reports that contract talks between him and Tottenham have broken down over his wage demands when he said on Twitter "And dont believe everyting u read on the internet".

          09.50 BST: Slaven Bilic has reflected on West Ham's failed attempt to sign Michy Batshuayi, who eventually ended up at Premier League rivals Chelsea, ahead of a game between the two sides on Monday evening.

          Bilic said, in quotes reported by the Star: "We tried to get at the beginning one of the top strikers of the moment and they opted for a bigger club and also better money of course, but at the end we bought what we wanted too, I'm happy.

          "I said a few weeks ago to the chairman and [head of recruitment] Tony [Henry] that if we want to go big game fishing there are two conditions for us to compete with the big clubs - if we go early or if we put more money in.

          "Then we might have had a chance, on paper, with those great ones. But we didn't do that. Then it is almost impossible to get the player."

          09.35 BST: Tony Pulis wants to do lots more business before the transfer window closes, as he is concerned the club is "stagnating," the Guardian reports.

          He said: "The club has had, and still has, a lot of players who have been here for a long time. They've been fantastic players, fantastic servants, but they need competition, they need people who can play in that team and want to be in that team. That's what this club needs."

          09.11 BST: Simone Zaza is in line to leave Serie A champions Juventus for Wolfsburg after holding talks with the Bundesliga club at the weekend.

          "The player was here yesterday and we had some good talks, but we are still far from completing the transfer," Wolfsburg's sporting director Klaus Allofs told kicker. "It's not just down to what the player wants -- contractual details and the transfer fee must also be defined."

          08.54 BST: Thierry Henry says he finds it hard to understand Arsenal's failure to compete in the transfer market and fears the very best players may no longer want to join the club. Story here.

          08.27 BST: Wolfsburg centre-back Dante continues to be linked with a move to Ligue 1 club Nice, but the German club's sporting executive Klaus Allofs told kicker on Sunday: "I've got no news to report."

          Arsenal losing Lacazette?

          It's not raining but pouring for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger this weekend, says The Sun.

          Wenger saw his team go from 1-0 up to 4-1 down and end up losing 4-3 at home to Liverpool at the Emirates on Sunday -- and to make things worse, it now appears that he could miss out on Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

          Arsenal have already seen a £29 million bid for the France striker rejected, and are set to return with a bigger offer.

          But after scoring a hat trick in Lyon's win over Nancy on Sunday, the 25-year-old said he was "happy" and hoped to reach the milestone of 100 Ligue 1 goals.

          If Arsenal are to make Lyon, who have said they could lose Lacazette to an offer they "couldn't refuse," consider selling, they will have to bid around £40m.

          And that's where there could be a flicker of hope for Wenger -- Lacazette told Canal Football Club: "If there are offers that can't be refused, I'd like to not refuse them."

          Bolasie moving out of Palace home

          So it's goodbye Yannick Bolasie as far as Crystal Palace and their fans are concerned, according to the Mirror, with the attacker poised to sort out the final details of his switch to Everton.

          Bolasie, who came on as a substitute in the Eagles' opening day home defeat to West Bromwich Albion, "bade farewell to his Crystal Palace teammates and travelled to Merseyside on Sunday to complete the move," it reports.

          Everton could end up paying £30m for Bolasie -- and his departure might, as increasingly reported in recent days, lead to the arrival of Christian Benteke, for whom Liverpool want around the same money.

          If it is not to be Benteke, attacking alternatives interesting Palace include West Brom striker Saido Berahino and Manchester United winger Ashley Young, although the Mirror reports that "no official bid has been lodged for either."

          Palace boss Alan Pardew has seen his side struggle for goals in recent months and wants to use the Bolasie funds to solve that problem.

          Darmian departs? Roma after United defender

          Is it the end of the road for Matteo Darmian at Manchester United? Calciomercato thinks so, suggesting that he is likely to join Roma.

          Darmian was not named in the Manchester United squad for the 3-1 win at Bournemouth -- and that, according to the Express, means the 26-year-old's stint in England "appears set to end."

          The full-back, who joined United from Torino last summer, could now be on his way back to Serie A.

          Although Roma are interested, they are not the only ones. Napoli, who have money to spend after the sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus, are also keen.

          But Calciomercato tips Roma to win the race and reckons United are likely to recoup the £12.5 million they paid for Darmian.

          Meanwhile, the Mirror reports that Southampton are confident that they will keep Jose Fonte despite interest from United.

          Jose Mourinho remains keen to bring in another defender, with Portugal international Fonte in the frame -- but the Saints "are adamant he is not for sale" and are holding talks about a new contract.

          Tap-ins

          - Watford are close to signing Chelsea's Kenedy on loan for the season, according to Sky Sports.

          It says the Hornets are on the verge of wrapping up a deal for the 20-year-old winger and occasional defender, who joined Chelsea last summer and played 20 times for them in the 2015-16 campaign.

          Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants Kenedy to continue his development and hopes a spell at Vicarage Road will offer him regular first-team opportunities.

          - Is another new arrival imminent for Aston Villa? The Birmingham Mail reports that it is, with the man in question being Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak.

          Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has also indicated on Twitter that a deal for the Australian, who had been linked with Newcastle, has been done.
