          It didn't take long for Jurgen Klopp and the Champions League-winning Reds to return home from Madrid and begin their celebrations immediately. The victory parade was scheduled for Sunday morning -- 11 a.m. local time -- as the players took to the buses to share their sixth European Cup/Champions League title with the faithful fans.

          Their team may not have won the game, but these Spurs fans in the U.S. went down in history for possibly the best 'dad joke' of all time.

          Griezmann likes Liverpool?

          We all know what it means when one player likes/comments on another player's social media right? Of course, it means they are going to be teammates in the near future.

          In which case, Liverpool fans have more to get excited about than winning the Champions League as they're about to land Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. Thanks to Roberto Firmino it seems.

          Mourinho leaves Ronaldo out of his UCL best XI

          Jose Mourinho has picked his Champions League team of the season and while chock full of talent, the former Manchester United boss left some big names on the bench.

          Perhaps unsurprisingly, Mourinho's selection was Liverpool-heavy, with no less than six of the team being plucked from Jurgen Klopp's victorious side.

          Despite settling upon an incredibly strong XI there was one notable exception, with Mourinho unable to find room for fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo despite the Juventus star once again finding himself among the tournament's top goalscorers.

          Mourinho's Champions League team of the season is as follows (via Record):

          Alisson (Liverpool), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax) and Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) make up the back five.

          Donny van de Beek (Ajax) and Frenkie de Jong (Ajax) are partnered in central midfield, with Christian Eriksen (Tottenham) pulling strings in front of them.

          Up top, Mourinho plumped for an explosive attacking three of Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Sadio Mane (Liverpool) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona), who scored 12 goals in the competition despite Barcelona crashing out in the semis.

          Barcelona launch 'new look' Squares jersey

          Barcelona's home shirt will break away from tradition next season, with the club confirming they will swap vertical stripes for a checkerboard print.

          Throughout their 120-year history, Barca have tended to use a variation of vertical stripes, except in 2015-16 when they opted for horizontal stripes.

          The new design, which is similar to the Croatia home shirt, is the first time the Catalan club have ever had a home kit featuring checkered blaugrana squares.

          "The new design takes its inspiration from the city of Barcelona by incorporating the characteristic blocks of its Eixample district, home to some of the most emblematic buildings designed by the great architect Antoni Gaudi," Barca said in a press release.

          The new shirt has already drawn negative comments online, with supporters disappointed to see the Spanish champions veer away from tradition for the second time in four years.

          There was a similar reaction in 2015, when the club announced they would wear horizontal stripes after winning the Treble under Luis Enrique and fans reacted so negatively to a proposed badge redesign in 2018 that the club scrapped it altogether.

          "The kit is something new and exciting," defender Gerard Pique said to the club's website in defence of the new design.

          "It might be different but it is 100 percent Barca and it is even better that the design represents the bond the club has with the supporters and the people who are driving the city forward."

          Juve launch new recycled shirt

          On the topic of shirts, with Juventus' new home kit splitting opinion right down the middle (ironic, given the half-and-half design), the Serie A champions have released another shirt that is certain to irk the traditionalists.

          Indeed, Juve have unveiled their new warm-up shirt for 2019-20 and it just so happens to be a blotchy pink number that fans have already likened to last year's all-black training jersey slathered in bleach stains.

          On first glance, we're getting a distinct air of "bacteria on a petri dish."

          One redeeming feature is that the shirt -- which will only be worn before matches -- is made from recycled plastics gathered from the world's oceans as part of adidas' ongoing partnership with the Parley for the Oceans environmental organisation.
