Cowdenbeath's Jordan Garden concedes crazy penalty vs. Berwick

Berwick Rangers registered a narrow 1-0 win over Cowdenbeath in the Scottish League Two at the weekend, with a late penalty proving the difference between the two sides.

Just when it looked like the tie was heading for a goalless draw, Cowdenbeath forward Jordan Garden went rogue in the 81st minute and conceded a spot-kick in truly ludicrous fashion.

Amid a frenzied goalmouth scramble, Garden attempted to block a shot by lunging head-first into a tackle, only to chop Michael McKenna down in the area.

After being floored, McKenna picked himself up, dusted himself off and duly dispatched the resulting penalty to steal the victory for Berwick.

Garden, on the other hand, was left to rue the fact that he ultimately cost his side the game with a moment of sheer madness!
