Atlanta Utd remind fans they exist after Chick-fil-A snub

NFL side Atlanta Falcons have caused several eyebrows to arch by making a big deal about the opening of a new Chick-fil-A restaurant at their Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

This is because all but one of the Falcon's home games this season fall on a Sunday -- the very day Chick-fil-A don't open, as per the belief of chain founder Truett Cathy the seventh day of the week should be reserved for rest and worship.

However, amid the confusion, the other new tenants at the arena have been quick to mention the entire gamut of food outlets will be open and available to fans who come to watch them play.

Atlanta United were keen to remind all supporters that they will soon be able to get their chicken fix when they start playing their MLS fixtures (on Saturdays) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium as of next month.

Indeed, Atlanta are set to play their very first game in their new home when they host to Dallas on Sept. 10.
