Krasnodar beat Zenit with excellent 94th-minute overhead kick

Things are going well for KrasnodarĀ in the Russian Premier League so far this season. The team are riding high in third place in the table and just about keeping pace with Zenit St Petersburg and Spartak Moscow above them.

Indeed, the Bulls moved to within four points of second place thanks to a dramatic win over Zenit on Sunday, which was settled by a spectacular two-goal flurry deep into stoppage time.

Having gone 1-0 down in the 86th minute, Krasnodar rallied to hit back with goals in the 92nd and 94th minutes to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Oh, and the winning goal just so happened to be an overhead volley from the edge of the 18-yard box.

A truly incredibly finish, the man responsible being 24-year-old midfielder Tornike Okriashvili.

Take a bow, son.
