Having made just a handful of appearances for Middlesbrough since his arrival in the summer, Victor Valdes has obviously been busy finding other outlets for his creative energy.
Indeed, Valdes is in the process of launching his very own match-making app, with the former Barcelona goalkeeper hoping to add "Hola Dating" to the iOS App Store and the Android Play Store very soon.

Explaining the concept via a video posted on Twitter, Valdes is hoping that his app -- which is being developed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona -- will help single people converse more freely with one another.

"We think that in the dating world, you can feel attracted to someone on the bus, the metro, in a cafe, or in a college or club," the 35-year-old said.
"But, you don't necessarily have the courage to approach them and break the ice. Therefore you need this app."
