TOP STORY: Bernardo Silva pushing for Barcelona move
Bernardo Silva has informed his agent that he would like to join Barcelona this summer, reveals Sport.
After joining Manchester City in 2017, the 27-year-old midfielder is reported to be looking for a new challenge and he is keen to make the switch to Camp Nou after Barcelona revealed their interest in him this summer.
Negotiations are set to take place in the coming weeks as the Blaugrana look to strike a deal with the Premier League champions, though Pep Guardiola's side are reportedly looking for a minimum transfer fee of €100 million to part ways with the Portugal international.
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has made signing Silva a priority target this summer as talks continue over a potential deal involving Frenkie de Jong and Manchester United -- and it looks as though Silva has been identified as De Jong's replacement.
Silva made 35 Premier League appearances last season, contributing to 12 goals.

21.46 BST: While AC Milan have been credited with interest in Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech for some time, the details of how such a move could be structured have been kept under wraps. The Athletic, though, reports that the Serie A champions are negotiating a loan deal for the 29-year-old former Ajax standout.
21.13 BST: Christian Pulisic wants to remain at Chelsea this season, according to the Mail, despite reports suggesting he could be used as a makeweight in a swap deal for Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt. The 23-year-old United States attacker is confident that he can make an impact for the Blues next season, having contributed to eight goals in 22 Premier League appearances in the 2021-22 campaign, though he would like to make more starts than the 16 he made across all competitions.
20.40 BST: Real Madrid have reached an agreement to extend the contract of Rodrygo until 2028, reports Marca. The 21-year-old winger's new deal sees him remain at the Santiago Bernabeu with a reported release clause of €1 billion. The Brazil international has been a priority for the LaLiga champions this season, having made 37 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side last term.
20.07 BST: Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Moutinho has signed a new one-year contract, the Premier League club announced on Monday. The 35-year-old was reported to be looking for a two-year deal, but after being convinced by Bruno Lage of his importance to the club's project, he has agreed to remain at Molineux for another 12 months despite interest in his signature from around Europe.
19.34 BST: Everton have joined the race to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja, according to Sky Sports. The Toffees are reported to have made contact with the Londoners regarding a bid for the 20-year-old Albania international, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Southampton last season. Frank Lampard's side are the latest club to challenge for his signature, with West Ham United and Newcastle United also keen on landing him.
19.01 BST: Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic is close to reaching an agreement to join Fiorentina on loan and a deal could be completed as soon as this week, sources have told ESPN.
The 24-year-old was rated as one of Europe's hottest young strikers when he signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for a €60m fee in 2019, but he has failed to settle at the Bernabeu -- scoring just three goals in LaLiga -- and isn't in coach Carlo Ancelotti's plans this season. Talks are now focused on whether the terms of the loan will see him play for La Viola for just one year, or until June 2024.
A number of teams have enquired about the Serbia international, sources said, but Fiorentina were the most attractive destination for the player. Teammate Alvaro Odriozola spent last season on loan at the Serie A club and impressed after going through similar struggles when he joined Madrid.
18.28 BST: Bayern Munich have emerged as contenders for the signature of Matthijs de Ligt after the Juventus centre-back held positive talks with the Bundesliga champions, reports Sky Sport Germany's Florian Plettenberg. The Serie A club are demanding a transfer fee between €60m and €80m, and the Netherlands international is keen to make the switch to the Allianz Arena despite interest from Chelsea.
17.55 BST: United States midfielder Tyler Adams has agreed to join Leeds United, with the transfer set to be announced this week, sources have told ESPN's Tom Hamilton. Jesse Marsch's team will pay a transfer fee in the region of £15m, which would increase to £20m with add-ons, and the 23-year-old is set to fly to England in the next 48 hours for his medical. 17.22 BST: Leeds United are edging closer to signing Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra, according to De Telegraaf. The Premier League club are reported to have identified the 23-year-old as a replacement for Raphinha, who is expected to leave Elland Road this summer, amid interest from Chelsea and Barcelona. Jesse Marsch's side are willing to pay a £23m transfer fee to land the Colombia international.
16.49 BST: Chelsea have been told Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo could be willing to join them, but the club are yet to decide whether to make a formal offer, sources have told ESPN's James Olley. Ronaldo has informed United of his desire to leave Old Trafford in pursuit of Champions League football, but there are few realistic options for the 37-year-old, who earns around £500,000 a week. 16.16 BST: Canada international and former Orlando City SC and Besiktas forward Cyle Larin has joined Club Brugge on a free transfer, the Belgian club announced on Monday. The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract, having been the subject of interest from Tigres of Mexico and Olympiakos of Greece.

15.43 BST: Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is being tracked by AC Milan, says Goal.
Luiz, 24, was signed from Manchester City in July 2019 and has attracted the interest of Arsenal before. However, Milan are reported to be in talks over a €30m move.
The Brazilian only has one year left on his contract, and appears unwilling to sign new terms.
15.20 BST: Canada international Adriana Leon has joined Manchester United on a one-year contract from West Ham United.
Leon, 29, spent three-and-a-half seasons at West Ham and made 59 appearances. A versatile forward, she scored 13 goals. She won Olympic gold with Canada at Tokyo 2020 and has 81 senior caps.
"I couldn't be more thrilled and honoured to join this historic football club. To be the first Canadian female player to play for Manchester United fills me with immense pride and excitement," she said in a statement. "I can't wait to join this talented group and put on the famous red jersey."
15.11 BST: Real Betis have confirmed the signing of Luiz Felipe.
The centre-back, 25, has joined Betis on a free transfer from Lazio, signing until 2027.
15.00 BST: Barcelona have confirmed the signing of ex-Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on free transfer after his contract expired.

14.55 BST: Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe is surplus to requirements at the Emirates, but the Gunners are struggling to find a destination for him, reports The Sun.
Pepe, 27, was signed for £72m from Lille in 2019 but has flopped and now wants to move on.
Arsenal want a transfer fee of at least £25m, but may accept a loan move to get his £140,000-a-week wages off the books, with clubs from Spain's LaLiga reportedly interested.
14.44 BST: The Athletic claims Chelsea are considering a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, 37, wants to leave Man United this summer to play Champions League football. However, United insist they won't be letting him depart, given he has a contract until 2023.
Chelsea's new co-owner Todd Boehly has already recently held a meeting with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, in which a transfer was discussed, but it remains to be seen whether United would let him leave for a rival.
14.22 BST: Joao Moutinho has signed a one-year contract extension with Wolves.
Moutinho, 35, joined the club in the summer of 2018 and has impressed ever since.
Wolves technical director Scott Sellars said: "In Joao's time at the club, he's been vital, bringing real experience and quality to the group, so to get him resigned is a massive boost for us all. With contracts, it's about getting to a place where everybody's happy, the club and the player, and it isn't always easy, but in the end what matters is the outcome and we're very happy with it.
"He's a huge influence in the dressing room, with the younger players, and sets standards that they follow. His and Bruno's relationship is very important. As a coach, you like players who can solve things on the pitch, and Joao is certainly one of them."
14.00 BST: Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips has moved to Man City for £42m.
13.40 BST: Real Sociedad are closing in on the signing of Celta Vigo winger Brais Mendez.
Mendez, who was a reported target of Real Madrid in previous transfer windows, is set to join the Basque outfit in a €14m transfer, Diario AS reports.
Real Sociedad were looking to bolster their attacking line and had considered signing Real Madrid's Take Kubo on a permanent transfer, but the Spanish champions were reluctant to let the Japan international leave.
Mendez will undergo a medical this week with Real Sociedad before putting pen to paper on a six-year contract. He scored four goals and set up five more in 37 league appearances for Celta this past season.
13.12 BST: Villarreal president Fernando Roig says his club has no need to offload any of its stars, including Pau Torres.
The Villarreal centre-back is considered one of the best defenders in LaLiga and has fully established himself within the starting XI for Spain, too. Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have reportedly monitored Torres' progress in recent seasons and are keen to sign the 25-year-old this summer for around €60m.
"We don't want to sell," Roig said. "We are ok as we are. "I would love for Pau Torres, who has a contract with us, to continue playing at Villarreal for many years. It's what I want, I don't know what will happen. I would love for him to have a great first half of the season, then go to Qatar [for the World Cup] and then finish the campaign."
Torres is under contract with Villarreal until June 2024 and has been offered a contract extension.
12.45 BST: Christian Eriksen has agreed to join Manchester United, sources have told ESPN.
The midfielder, who is a free agent, is set to sign a three-year deal once a medical is completed.
The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season at Brentford where he scored once in 11 games. He has turned down the chance to re-sign for Brentford to move to Old Trafford.
Tottenham also lodged an interest in Eriksen but after Antonio Conte stepped back from a deal, United were able to swoop in.
12.22 BST: Barcelona have confirmed the signing of midfielder Franck Kessie on a free transfer from Italian champions AC Milan, the club announced on Monday.
Kessie, 25, has joined Barca on a four-year deal after his contract expired with Milan on June 30.
The Ivory Coast international's move to Camp Nou ends his five-year stay at the Rossoneri where he made 224 appearances and scored 39 goals.
He becomes Barca's second signing of what is expected to be a busy summer following the arrival of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, also on a free transfer.
12.19 BST: Veteran midfielder Santi Cazorla has signed a one-year contract extension with Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd.
Cazorla, 37, joined Al Sadd from Villarreal two years ago and his previous deal was going to expire this summer. The former Arsenal star scored six goals and set up nine more in 22 games this past season.
Cazorla wrote: "The club has exercised their right to extend my contract and I will play one more year at Al-Sadd. New coach, new motivations and a clear aim! Improve from what we did last season."
12.06 BST: Juventus are monitoring Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes as a potential replacement for Matthijs de Ligt, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
De Ligt is expected to join Chelsea this summer and Juve want to strengthen their defensive line after losing veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini, who joined Los Angeles FC last week.
Gabriel, 24, is under contract with Arsenal through June 2025. The Brazilian made 35 league appearances for the Gunners and is considered a key player for Mikel Arteta, with the club reportedly only willing to accept bids higher than €40m.
12.00 BST: Wolfsburg have announced that Poland international Ewa Pajor has extended her contract with the club until 2025.
Pajor, 25, could even stay longer as there is also an option to extend by a year.
The striker joined the club in 2015 and has made 135 appearances across all competitions. She has won the league five times and German Cup seven times. During the 2018-19 season, she was the Frauen Bundesliga's top scorer with 24 goals. She has 69 international caps and has scored 46 goals.
11.43 BST: Rodrigo De Paul is determined to stay at Atletico Madrid, Diario AS reports, despite interest from Serie A clubs Juventus and Roma.
De Paul, 28, joined Atletico last summer and impressed at times last season -- making 36 appearances in LaLiga and scoring three goals -- without making himself an undisputed starter.
According to AS, De Paul is focused on improving in his second season in Spain, and securing a place in the Argentina team for the World Cup in Qatar.
11.24 BST: ICYMI -- Leeds United are closing in on the signing of United States midfielder Tyler Adams from RB Leipzig for a transfer fee in the region of £15m, sources have told ESPN.
Adams, 23, is set to agree to a move to Elland Road that would see him reunited with his old manager Jesse Marsch, who coached him at both the New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig. The U.S. international likely will replace Kalvin Phillips after Manchester City signed the England midfielder.
If the move goes through, Adams will become the fourth signing of Marsch's tenure, following the arrivals of Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca.
11.00 BST: Leeds United have signed Manchester City midfielder Darko Gyabi.
Gyabi, 18, has signed a contract until the summer of 2026, having played predominantly for the City U23 side last season.
"I am really excited! Obviously I have seen that they've given the young players a lot of opportunities in the first team here," the England U18 midfielder said. "I think it was nine debuts in the Premier League last season, so that's really good! I know a bit about the club, it's a great club.
"The fans are what has attracted me the most. I played here last season and the fans were crazy in an Under-23s game! So, I can't imagine how that's going to be in a full stadium."
10.45 BST: Where might Cristiano Ronaldo end up this summer?
10.18 BST: Real Madrid winger Peter Gonzalez -- who made his first-team debut last season after impressing at youth level -- could be headed to Real Valladolid on loan, according to Diario AS.
The 19-year-old forward is rated as one of Madrid's most talented young prospects and started for their reserve team Castilla over the last two seasons.
AS reports that Valladolid president -- and Madrid legend -- Ronaldo Nazario could help clinch a deal as Valladolid look to strengthen following their promotion to the first division.
10.00 BST: Manchester City have completed the signing of Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
ESPN reported earlier in June that Premier League champions City will pay an initial £42m to sign the midfielder with another £3m due in add-ons.
Phillips, 26, will compete for a place in midfield with Rodri and replace Fernandinho in the squad after the Brazilian departed at the end of last season following nine years at the Etihad. He joins in time for City's preseason tour of the U.S.
With the signing of Phillips and Erling Haaland already done, City are now set to focus on their pursuit of Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella.
09.47 BST: Udinese's Nahuel Molina, Tottenham's Emerson Royal and Wolves' Nelson Semedo are all options in Atletico Madrid's search for a right-back, according to Marca.
The departure of Kieran Trippier to Newcastle in January left a "huge gap" in the team, the newspaper reports, and Atletico are now in the hunt for a "top quality" signing to replace him.
Argentina international Molina, 24, is a favourite but may prove difficult to prise away from Udinese, while Emerson and Semedo have both been Atletico targets in the past.
Meanwhile the player Atletico signed to cover the loss of Trippier during the January window -- Daniel Wass -- could be on his way out of the club already, Diario AS reports. The former Valencia player suffered a knee injury in his first game for Atletico in February and failed to convince coach Diego Simeone on his return.
According to AS, Real Sociedad and Getafe are both keen on Wass, although Atletico may end up keeping him as a back-up option, with another right-back Sime Vrsaljko having already left the club this summer when his contract expired.
08.55 BST: Record reports that Joao Palhinha will undergo a medical on Monday with Fulham to complete his transfer from Sporting CP.
Palhinha, 26, arrived in London on Saturday and is expected to sign a five-year contract with The Cottagers. Fulham have reportedly agreed a payment of €20m plus €2m in add-ons for the 26-year-old defensive midfielder.
The Portugal international made 27 league appearances for Sporting this past season as the club finished runners-up to FC Porto in the Primeira Liga.
08.41 BST: Lautaro Martinez has confirmed he will remain at Inter Milan.
Martinez, 24, signed a contract extension until June 2026 last October but has attracted the attention of several top European clubs after scoring 25 goals in 48 appearances with the Serie A champions last season. Inter are considering letting a top star depart this summer to balance their books but it will not be Martinez.
The Argentina international striker replied to a post shared by Inter and wrote: "It's almost time, another year together."
08.30 BST: Arsenal have completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, the club announced.
ESPN reported earlier in June that Arsenal were confident of landing the Brazil international amid rival interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Sources also added that Arsenal will pay £45m plus a further £10m in add-ons to sign the striker.
"I'm very excited," Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said. "The club has done a tremendous job to recruit a player of this stature. I know Gabriel personally very well, and we all know him well from his time in the Premier League and being really successful here.
"This is a position that's been on our radar for a long time now and we have managed to get a player that we all wanted, so I'm really happy."

- AS Monaco are looking to make a move for Switzerland international Breel Embolo, reports Foot Mercato. The 25-year-old striker has recently been tracked by Lyon. But having already completed a move for Takumi Minamino, Monaco are hopeful of taking advantage of Embolo's contract situation, as he has just 12 months left on his deal with Borussia Monchengladbach. He scored eight goals in 28 league appearances last season.
- Discussions are set to continue between AC Milan and Chelsea for the signature of Hakim Ziyech, reveals Fabrizio Romano. It is reported that Thomas Tuchel is willing to allow the 29-year-old attacking midfielder to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Ziyech open to making the switch to the Serie A champions.
- Alessio Romagnoli is set to wait for Lazio to finalise a move for him despite receiving an offer from Fulham, writes Calciomercato. The 27-year-old centre-back is a free agent after his deal expired with AC Milan, and it is reported that while the Cottagers have proposed a four-year contract to him worth €4m per season, he plans to wait to continue talks with Maurizio Sarri's side.
- Denzel Dumfries wants to stay at Internazionale this season despite interest from across Europe, understands Calciomercato. The 26-year-old wing-back has attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich in recent weeks, though the report suggests that he wants to continue in the Serie A with the Nerazzurri, after an impressive campaign last season saw him contribute to nine goals in 33 league appearances.
- Valencia forward Maxi Gomez is set to complete a U-turn on his plans to leave the club, after a positive meeting with manager Gennaro Gattuso convinced him to stay at the Mestalla, according to Mundo Deportivo. Atletico Madrid have been linked with a move in recent weeks, but it looks as though the Uruguay international is now keen to get back to preseason under Los Che's new head coach.
