TOP STORY: Real Madrid eye move for Sterling
Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling will be targeted by Real Madrid this summer, says The Daily Star.
Sterling, 27, has yet to agree a new contract at City and has had some reservations over his place in the first-team this season. The England winger's deal expires in a year and he could be available for around €60 million.
Real Madrid missed out on the €60m signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to City and now their first-choice summer recruit Kylian Mbappe has decided to stay with Paris Saint-Germain.

22.01 BST: West Ham United will make a move for Nottingham Forest captain Joe Worrall if the Reds are unable to make the Premier League with David Moyes keen to sign a centre-back, reports The Evening Standard.
Worrall is not expected to leave if Forest end their 23-year Premier League hiatus, but the Hammers are ready to take advantage if they fall short. Fulham and Leicester City have also been linked but West Ham can offer European football, while Moyes' track record of helping players take the step up from the Championship could prove attractive.
21.29 BST: Marcos Alonso will be allowed to leave Chelsea in the summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, who adds that personal terms are close to being agreed with Barcelona.
The fee is currently the main point that needs to be focused on, as the Blaugrana are unwilling to offer a large amount for a player whose contract ends in 2023.
20.54 BST: Judging by La Gazzetta dello Sport's report, Pierluigi Gollini's future is an uncertain one after Tottenham Hotspur turned down the option to make his loan move from Atalanta permanent, instead looking to sign Southampton's Fraser Forster.
The 27-year-old Gollini will now return to Atalanta, but he is not expected to stay there due to the presence of Juan Musso and no next destination is mentioned in the report.
20.20 BST: Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais are both moving to sign Le Havre centre-back Isaak Toure, reports L'Equipe, with the former increasingly unlikely to keep William Saliba after his loan spell comes to an end.
The 19-year-old Toure is valued at €5m and wants his future sorted before the U19 Euros start on June 18, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg also showing concrete interest.
19.41 BST: Following Fabio Carvalho's move from Fulham to Liverpool, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the 19-year-old will not be loaned out despite the Cottagers hoping that would be the case.
Instead, Jurgen Klopp intends to include the attacking midfielder in the Reds squad immediately, feeling that he could quickly become an important player for the team.
19.09 BST: Torino have raised their valuation of Gleison Bremer to €35m, reports Calciomercato, who add that Internazionale are still the frontrunners in the race to sign the defender.
There is plenty of competition, though, with Juventus, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Leicester City showing interest - the latter option is far behind in Bremer's mind as he wants to play Champions League football.
18.25 BST: Jerome Boateng could be set to leave Olympique Lyonnais after one season with the French outfit due to a lack of game time, as reported by Sky Sports Deutschland.
He is said to want to join an ambitious club in Spain, Italy, Portugal or France, while a return to Germany isn't something to rule out. MLS is out of the question for now but could be an option the centre-back considers in the future.
18.01 BST: Sky Sports Italia suggest that despite Hellas Verona being ready to trigger the €12m clause to make Giovanni Simeone's loan move from Cagliari permanent, the Argentine's future could still be elsewhere.
The striker scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 36 Serie A appearances this term, which has caught the attention of various clubs and could lead to at least one of those making an attempt to sign him.
17.36 BST: Barcelona will allow Ferran Jutgla to depart before June 30, according to Diario Sport, who report that the Blaugrana will bring in a little under €5m.
They had initially considered taking the option to extend the striker's contract by a year, with his current one about to end, but have instead opted to let him leave with various clubs in La Liga and abroad showing interest.
16.17 BST: Arsenal chose rebuild over Champions League, but expectations are high for next season, writes James Olley.
Arsenal are inherently wary of the January window. Former manager Arsene Wenger once called for it to be scrapped entirely and, with every penny counting, they were reluctant to pursue an option -- likely at an inflated fee -- that didn't precisely fit Arteta's vision, especially given the wider FFP picture. Yet it is an inescapable fact that Tottenham ended up edging past Arsenal with the help of two key January signings: Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, the latter initially on loan.
The three-year FFP cycle moves on with a new season, and Arsenal, with Europa League football back on the agenda, will look to make a number of new signings this summer. Sources have told ESPN that the club want two forwards, one of whom is versatile enough to play on the flank. Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus (who is valued at around £55m) and Juventus' Paulo Dybala (available on a free transfer this summer) are among those under consideration.
They also want a central midfielder -- Leicester City's Youri Tielemans has his admirers at the club -- cover at full-back and possibly a centre-back if money allows.
There will be multiple outgoings once again as Arteta continues his overhaul, while behind the scenes a "cultural review" is taking place in conjunction with an external consultancy firm; Arsenal confirmed on Sunday that head of high performance Shad Forsythe and kit-man Paul Akers will leave.
15.19 BST: Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot could move to Chelsea this summer for around €20m, says Tuttosport.
Rabiot, 27, is in the final year of his €7m-a-year contract but is being linked with a move this summer after falling down the pecking order.

13.26 BST: Sevilla defender Jules Kounde is still top of Chelsea's transfer list, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Kounde, 23, would reportedly love to move to the Premier League, while his release clause is €80m.
Chelsea will push to sign the France international, but will have to wait until their takeover is complete.

11.18 BST: Carlo Ancelotti has said he "respects the decision" of Kylian Mbappe to turn down a move to Real Madrid in favour of renewing his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG announced on Saturday that Mbappe would be staying at the Parc des Princes after agreeing a new three-year deal until 2025, with the forward insisting on Monday that he had been convinced by the club's "sporting project."
The saga has overshadowed Madrid's preparations for their Champions League final with Liverpool, which will be played in Paris this Saturday.
"With what we have to think about, we've never thought about players from other clubs," Ancelotti said in a news conference. "We respect everyone, we respect the decisions they take, we respect other clubs. But we have to do our jobs, and it's clear what we have to think about now, which is preparing well for the final."
10.58 BST: Real Madrid are furious over Kylian Mbappe's PSG U-turn, but they know how to channel it after Neymar joined Barcelona in 2013, writes Graham Hunter.
Given the state of their opposition right now, it wouldn't have been presumptuous of club president Florentino Perez to calculate that signing the prolific 23-year-old, while keeping hold of his own key players, would have all but guaranteed Madrid retaining their LaLiga title next season.
Why? Mbappe has racked up 205 goal contributions (hitting the net and giving assists) for PSG in 173 matches in the past four seasons. It's utterly remarkable, particularly when you recall that when that sequence began he was just 19.
Karim Benzema will surely regret his affable reply in a L'Equipe interview last month, when he said: "I've got a great understanding with Kylian in the national team and I'd love to play with him at Madrid. We'd score double the goals, or maybe even treble!"
Given that the 34-year-old Benzema and young Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior have already contributed 100 goals and assists this LaLiga-winning season, the addition of Mbappe to that pairing would've been enormously threatening for Madrid's rivals -- domestic and European alike. So this is a setback not easily forgiven or assimilated, but one that Madrid, under Perez, have got a history of soaking up, redirecting their fury and then, like all good empires, striking back.
That history starts in 2013. Technically it starts seven years before that, but the heart of that refocusing of fury begins in 2013.
10.31 BST: Looks like Man United have plans for Cristiano Ronaldo next season.
09.25 BST: Barcelona will target midfielders Ruben Neves or Martin Zubimendi should Frenkie de Jong leave the club this summer, sources have told ESPN.
Barca coach Xavi Hernandez has spoken of his desire to keep De Jong but has also conceded the club's precarious financial situation could force them to make some difficult decisions.
ESPN reported earlier this month that both Manchester United and Manchester City would be keen on the Netherlands midfielder if he is allowed to depart Camp Nou.
If De Jong does move, sources have told ESPN that Barca will try and sign a deep-lying midfielder who could act as a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets, who is out of contract in 2023.
08.45 BST: Palmeiras announced a deal with 15-year-old Brazilian Endrick on Monday, with the teenage sensation set to sign his first pro contract.
The club said on Twitter the agreement will be valid when the striker turns 16 in July, as required by local legislation.
Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras celebrated the deal with a picture of Endrick, who is already a part of the team's youth setup, and his family with club chairwoman Leila Pereira. Brazilian media reported the contract put the striker's release clause at €60m ($64m).
08.24 BST: Kylian Mbappe has said Liverpool were one of the clubs he spoke to before deciding to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain, and that he had also met with the Premier League side in 2017 when he was still at Monaco.
Mbappe had been widely tipped to join Real Madrid this summer but stunned the LaLiga champions by signing a contract extension until 2025 with PSG last week.
Jurgen Klopp said earlier this month that Liverpool were interested in Mbappe and the player said there had been some contact.
"We talked a little bit, but not too much," Mbappe told the Daily Telegraph. "I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don't know why, you will have to ask her.
"It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club. Of course, it was between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the end."
08.00 BST: Real Madrid and Liverpool are the two clubs best placed to sign Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, sources have told ESPN.
Kylian Mbappe -- a personal friend of the Monaco midfielder -- has also asked Paris Saint-Germain to sign Tchouameni, but sources said that this week's Champions League finalists were the favourites to land the 22-year-old.
ESPN reported in January that Madrid were tracking Tchouameni's progress as they viewed the signing of a defensive midfielder as a priority.
Madrid have also received positive reports about Ajax's Ryan Gravenberch -- who is now a reported target for Bayern Munich -- but sources told ESPN that Tchouameni was at the top of Madrid's midfield wishlist for this summer.

- Sky Sports Deutschland have reported that Bayern Munich have made movements in recent days to bring in Liverpool forward Sadio Mane. It is also suggested that Kylian Mbappe staying at Paris Saint-Germain is a bonus for the Bavarians, as it means the Ligue 1 champions are unlikely to be able to afford a move for Mane.
- Manchester United are willing to spend €50m to bring in Villarreal defender Pau Torres, according to Marca. Erik ten Hag wants a centre-back who is comfortable passing the ball, while the Yellow Submarine are braced to potentially lose some key players with Arnaut Danjuma and Pervis Estupinan also gaining interest.
- Having secured a Champions League spot for next season, Tottenham Hotspur are set to compete with bitter rivals Arsenal to sign Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, according to The Telegraph. The Telegraph's report suggests that the Gunners have even spoken to the Brazilian's agent, though that hasn't stop Spurs from attempting to make the signing. Sources had previously told ESPN that Arsenal are weighing up their options after being told City will demand £55m for Jesus' transfer this summer.
- As Paulo Dybala prepares to leave Juventus upon the culmination of his contract, the Argentine has insisted to Sky Sports Italia that his next destination is still unknown, saying: "I still don't know what I will do." There has been reported interest from the likes of Internazionale and Tottenham among others.
- Atletico Madrid have joined Nice, Marseille and Lyon in showing interest in signing Lens right-wing-back Jonathan Clauss, according to Foot Mercato. Atleti's right side is said to be a priority due after Kieran Trippier joined Newcastle United in January. With Sime Vrsaljko also set to depart, Los Colchoneros would rather not have to play Marcos Llorente out of position. Clauss' transfer fee is said to be worth around €20m.
- With Ivan Perisic's contract coming to its culmination at the end of June, Internazionale have increased their wage offer in the hopes of persuading the Croatia international to stay, reports Sky Sports Italia. There has been interest from Juventus and clubs in the Premier League but Inter are now offering €5m plus bonuses that are fairly easy to reach.
