LIVE Transfer Talk: Chelsea favourites to sign West Ham's Declan Rice

The January transfer window might seem like a distant memory, but that doesn't mean the rumour mill has shut down! Speculation over summer moves is heating up, so check out the latest gossip below, and see all official deals here.

TOP STORY: West Ham's battle to keep Rice

There were plenty of clubs reportedly interested in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice last summer. The Hammers managed to keep hold of their talisman, though, even with big names such as Manchester United and Chelsea being mentioned as potential suitors.

While it seemed as though that interest had cooled, the Telegraph reports that the Blues have reignited their pursuit of the 22-year-old and that the Red Devils -- along with Manchester City -- are also monitoring the situation.

The England international has gone from strength to strength in recent seasons, meaning he won't be cheap, and it is suggested that the midfielder could cost around £90 million to sign.

While Chelsea are are not the only club hoping to bring Rice in, it seems as though they are the most serious about signing him, and the paper says that Thomas Tuchel's side is Rice's preferred destination should he leave London Stadium.

Chelsea will seemingly do all they can to land the midfielder, and that includes using striker Tammy Abraham as part of a deal.

This comes with the Hammers having recently been linked with the striker, who has struggled for game time since Tuchel took over at Chelsea in January.

LIVE BLOG

22.00 BST: That will do it for the latest edition of our LIVE Transfer Talk blog. We hoped you enjoyed following along with us and remind you to check back shortly for the latest transfer rumours, reports and completed deals. Goodnight!

21.00 BST: Could Arsenal bring back Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?

The Daily Express proposes the 27-year-old as a cheaper alternative/Plan B to on-loan Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard. The Ox, who was used sparingly this season at Liverpool, is likely to leave Anfield this summer as he tries to reignite his career.

The report adds that Oxlade-Chamberlain, who made nearly 200 appearances for the Gunners between 2011-17, could be available for as little as £20 million, with Borussia Dortmund also a potential landing spot.

20.11 BST: Leeds and manager Marcelo Bielsa have agreed to a one year contract extension, The Mirror reports.

The Argentine, whose contract was set to expire this summer, will stay at Elland Road for a fourth season. Leeds exceeded expectations in their first season back in the top-flight since 2004, finishing ninth and just three points out of the European places.

19.26 BST: Leicester City are strong contenders to sign Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga, writes Calciomercato.

The ex-Chelsea man, 24, has seen his form dip this season (four goals, two assists) and is expected to move on this summer with Leicester, Atalanta, Napoli, Marseille, Lyon and Villarreal all reportedly interested. The tricky wide man had a career-best 11 goals and four assists last season and is valued between €30-40 million.

The report adds that Napoli, Atalanta and Leicester are the favourites to land the Ivory Coast international.

18.35 BST: Nat Phillips has emerged as an unlikely hero for Liverpool but his days at Anfield reportedly could be numbered.

The Sun suggests that the centre-back is available for the right price, with the Reds willing to part with the 24-year-old for £10 million. Liverpool will get Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez back from injury next season, and are also reportedly closing in on RB Leipzig central defender Ibrahima Konate.

17.58 BST: Tammy Abraham is expected to leave Chelsea this summer but could the striker leave England altogether?

Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Roma are in on the 23-year-old, who has scored 21 Premier League goals over the past two seasons. While Abraham's playing time has not always been consistent, especially since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, the forward has made the most of minutes, averaging a goal every 155 minutes, the 10th best rate among qualifiers since the start of the last season.

New Roma boss Jose Mourinho is also familiar with Abraham having coached against him in the Premier League.

17.00 BST: Juventus want to hire Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso to replace Andrea Pirlo this summer, says Tuttosport.

Gattuso's relationship with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has deteriorated and the former Milan midfielder is set to leave the club.

Calciomercato reports that, Luciano Spalletti is the leading candidate to replace Gattuso, while Massimiliano Allegri is in the frame too.

But Gattuso could quickly find himself a new job, especially if Pirlo fails to lead Juventus into the Champions League.

15.32 BST: Romano also says that Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho "loves the prospect of joining Manchester United this summer."

Sancho, 21, has 16 goals and 21 assists in 37 appearances this season and has been long linked with a €120m move to United. However, that price has dropped and now could be as little as €90m.

Romano told The United Stand: "It's an open race. What I'm told is it's an open race. Last summer Manchester United were alone in the race, they had the opportunity to sign Sancho. They were really close and they didn't sign him. Now United are in the race, the player loves the opportunity of joining Manchester United so his position is not changing.

"He would love to join Manchester United. But also Liverpool are looking at the player if they sell some players in attacking positions. Let's see what happens with Chelsea. At the moment I'm told Chelsea have not had anything official with his agents or with Borussia Dortmund."

14.50 BST: Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona have extended Riqui Puig's contract until June 2023.

Puig, 21, has played 23 times this season but the midfielder hasn't won over manager Ronald Koeman. He could go out on loan, but his future may depend on Koeman's future and who may replace him.

14.14 BST: If Barcelona sign Sergio Aguero on a free transfer this summer from Manchester City, would it persuade Lionel Messi to stay?

13.34 BST: Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand is leaving the club on a free transfer this summer and there are plenty of clubs keen on him, says TalkSPORT.

Bertrand, 31, has plenty of experience in the Premier League and the left-back is attracting interest from Leicester and Arsenal, while Italian side AC Milan could also offer him a new challenge.

12.59 BST: AS says that Barcelona want to sign Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who is set to become a free agent this summer.

Donnarumma, 22, is a star of the future but if Milan miss out on the Champions League this season then he could leave.

Barca are happy with current No. 1 Marc-Andre ter Stegen but could look to move him on in order to raise some funds and reduce their massive debts.

12.27 BST: The Times reports that Liverpool's move for RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate could be in danger.

Sources told ESPN in March that Liverpool are ready to pay the 21-year-old's €41.5m release clause, but the latest is that Leipzig want the whole fee up front and not in instalments.

The Reds are also yet to make a decision on Schalke loanee Ozan Kabak.

The 20-year-old Turkey international has an option to sign him permanently included in the loan contract, but Liverpool are taking their time to decide as Schalke have been relegated from the Bundesliga.

12.15 BST: The Sunday Times reports that Fernandinho is to be given a new one-year contract by Manchester City. The 36-year-old, who moved to the Etihad from Shakhtar Donetsk eight years ago, replaced David Silva as club captain at the start of the season and is viewed as a crucial influence in the changing room.

The Brazil international has continued to be an important figure as City regained the Premier League title, starting 20 matches with another 14 in other competitions.

10.46 BST: Manchester City are expected to be at the front of the queue of clubs hoping to sign Harry Kane, after the Tottenham Hotspur striker told the club he wants to leave this summer.

Sources told ESPN on Monday that Kane has decided to look for a new challenge, with Spurs out of the Champions League next season -- and he would prefer to stay in the Premier League.

The shock news from the Daily Star today is that City already tested the water in the January window, but were quickly told the England captain wasn't for sale. That was obviously before Kane made it clear he would like to move on, so City may feel they are in pole position to push through a deal worth around £150m for the 27-year-old.

But The Sunday Times reckons that Manchester United are not going to let Kane move to the Etihad unchallenged. Its report says United will compensate Kane for loss of earnings should the striker have to submit a written transfer request, which means he would forfeit loyalty payments on his Spurs contract. United will offer a multimillion-pound signing-on fee to cover it.

10.00 BST: Bild reports that Manchester United are preparing a move Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.

Coman, 24, has two years left on his contract but is third-choice behind Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry on the wings. Bayern may let him go in order to raise funds and the France international certainly has no shortage of suitors.

Our Keep or Dump series provides some insight over his future.

RAE: This is a hard call. Coman is one of Bayern's most important attacking players and scored the winner in last season's Champions League final, but indications are that he's reluctant to extend his contract beyond 2023. Letting Coman leave if they get an offer of around €50m would allow Bayern to improve the squad. Plus if you don't want to be at Bayern, leave it to players who do.

HAMILTON: Coman has been frequently linked with a move to the Premier League but Bayern will be keen to keep him. He would only be permitted to leave if Bayern had a ready-made replacement lined up.

Verdict: Split: Dump / Keep (Estimated fee: €50m)

09.34 BST: ICYMI - Chelsea are willing to offer several different players, including Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga, in a player-plus-cash offer for Harry Kane but fear Tottenham will not do business with them, sources have told ESPN.

The Blues are ready to join the race for the 27-year-old along with Manchester United and Manchester City after news emerged on Monday evening that Kane wants to leave the club.

A transfer is not straightforward given that Kane has three years remaining on his Spurs contract and chairman Daniel Levy is likely to demand a fee in the region of £150m.

08.47 BST: Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita wants to leave the club, says AS.

Keita, 26, is keen to play more and has reportedly been approached by new La Liga champions Atletico Madrid over a move.

08.30 BST: Portuguese fifth-tier side Belenenses are hoping to tempt legendary Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to join them at the end of the season with an offer including custard tarts and museum tickets.

Buffon said last week that he will leave Juve when his contract expires at the end of the season, but the 43-year-old left the door open to continuing his career elsewhere.

"We heard that you are looking for a new challenge and are receptive to listening to a 'crazy and stimulating' proposal," the Lisbon club wrote in an open letter.

"Therefore, we decided to present you with something irresistible: how about moving to Lisbon and helping us to quickly return to our place in Portuguese football, the I Liga [top flight]?"

The club promised to include in their contract offer tickets to various tourist attractions around the city, including an annual pass to the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology.

They also offer "a pack of six Pasteis de Belem [custard tarts] a week, one of the most popular specialities of Portuguese sweets, which you will certainly enjoy without tweaking your diet."

PAPER GOSSIP (By Danny Lewis)

- Juventus and Everton are both looking into a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero, according to the Daily Mail. The Argentine has been keen to leave Old Trafford since being pushed to the side after Dean Henderson returned from his Sheffield United loan. It is likely that the 34-year-old will fall further down the United pecking order should he stay, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side now being linked with a move for Aston Villa stopper Tom Heaton.

- Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in Stuttgart's Gregor Kobel, which the goalkeeper has now confirmed, as reported by Kicker. The 23-year-old said: "Dortmund is definitely an issue. I'll deal with it in the next few days. I'll listen to it. We'll see."

- According to Le 10 Sport, Flamengo midfielder Gerson will be completing a move to Marseille for €6m plus add-ons. It is reported that a deal has been done between the two clubs, and Gerson has agreed to the terms of a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.

- There is no chance of Dani Ceballos staying at Arsenal after his loan from Real Madrid comes to an end, says Fabrizio Romano. The journalist also suggests that Los Blancos are willing to let him leave permanently during the summer window and are waiting for a proposal.

- With Crystal Palace looking to reduce the average age of their squad, they are hoping to sign 22-year-old Copenhagen defender Victor Nelsson, as reported by the Daily Mail. Within the report, Conor Gallagher and Marc Guehi, Chelsea players on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City respectively, are both said to be of interest. They are also hoping to bring in Juventus' Radu Dragusin on loan.
