TOP STORY: Barca see Isak as Suarez replacement
Barcelona are looking to sign Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak as coach Ronald Koeman works to strengthen in attack after longtime striker Luis Suarez made the high-profile move to Atletico Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Lyon forward Memphis Depay has also been linked with the Catalan giants, but they are also looking at the 21-year-old Swede.
Isak scored 16 goals for Real Sociedad last season, including strikes against both Barca and Real Madrid, following his move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019.
However, there might need to be some negotiations before a move is made, as he has a release clause of €70m. Barcelona might push for a player-plus-cash deal to bring the price down.

22.21 BST: Marca writes that Javi Martinez will consider new proposals this week as Athletic Bilbao insisted they would pay no transfer fee for the 32-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder/defender whose expires at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season. The Bavarian club was said to be agreeable to a discounted fee for Martinez in order to facilitate a return to the Basque club where he spent six seasons before moving to the Bundesliga, but are unwilling to lose the player for nothing.
21.34 BST: Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is set to join Union Berlin on a season-long loan, Goal reports, with the Bundesliga side possessing no option to make the 27-year-old former Germany youth international's switch permanent.
20.47 BST: Tottenham Hotspur will look to sell two of Serge Aurier, Danny Rose and Juan Foyth, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as they seek to raise the €50m needed to take 25-year-old centre-back Milan Skriniar from Internazionale.
20.00 BST: Manchester City target Kalidou Koulibaly will be staying at Napoli this season, according to the club's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.
The 29-year-old has been high on City manager Pep Guardiola's list of potential signings but sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson that the club has now turned its focus to Benfica's Ruben Dias.
"Our squad is complete, so will now try to release players who won't have much time on the pitch," Giuntoli told Sky Italia.
"I think Koulibaly is staying, we are very happy and so is he. He has three years on his current deal, I believe he is staying."
City were reportedly unwilling to pay the price Napoli had put on the defender.
19.14 BST: Marca are reporting that Barcelona have turned down a bid totalling €150m for winger Ansu Fati.
The club were notified by Fati's agent Jorge Mendes of the offer from an unnamed club.
The deal would see Barcelona paid €125m paid up front, with the remainder coming in objective based add-ons.
Fati was also subject to an €100m offer earlier this window, yet the club swiftly turned it down.
The 17-year-old's release clause was automatically increased to €400m after Barcelona officially promoted him to the first team for the upcoming season.
18.20 BST: Manchester United winger Daniel James has told manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he wants to stay and fight for his place, according to Sky Sports.
James, who arrived from Swansea in June 2019, has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford due to the form of Mason Greenwood and others.
The winger has received an offer from Leeds United with Marco Bielsea keen to take the Wales International to Elland Road this season.
The 22-year-old was close to signing for Leeds in Jan. 2019, only for the deal to collapse at the last minute.
United are still desperate to bring in a winger this window with the club still seeking a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
The arrival of another winger could see James' game time limited even further at Old Trafford.
17.15 BST: Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Benfica defender Ruben Dias, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Nathan Ake has already been added to the City squad this summer to help their defence but City are looking to add another centre-back.
Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Atletico Madrid's Jose Gimenez were both considered during the transfer window but City's refusal to meet the asking price for either saw them move on to Dias.
The 23-year-old, who has been capped 19 times by Portugal, is set to arrive in Manchester this week to finalise the move.
16.01 BST: Sky Sports are reporting that RB Leipzig and Fulham are in advanced talks to bring Ademola Lookman to London on loan.
The 22-year-old didn't feature in Leipzig's game against Bayer Leverkusen and the German club said he was not selected "due to ongoing transfer discussions."
It would be a swift return to the Premier League for Lookman who left Everton last summer in a £22.5m deal.
Despite impressing while on loan in Germany, he has struggled since the move was made permanent and did score in 13 appearances in all competitions during 2019-20.
He has not featured yet this season and could instead appear in London on a season-long loan.
15.03 BST: Real Madrid have had to postpone their pursuit of Eduardo Camavinga due to the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Marca.
The 17-year-old midfielder has attracted the attention of multiple clubs but the La Liga champions were the first to approach him with an offer.
However, the player has received correspondence from Real Madrid to say that it is unlikely a deal will be done in this transfer window.
The Rennes midfielder is willing to wait for the Spanish side and has communicated that to them.
14.08 BST: Sheffield United are considering signing free agent Daniel Sturridge with manager Chris Wilder keen to add a striker to the squad, according to the Daily Mail.
They have begun negotiations for players such as Liverpool's Rhian Brewster and Arsenal's Folarin Balogun
However, the value put on these players by their clubs has proved a stumbling block for Sheffield United.
Sturridge, 31, has been a free agent since leaving Trabzonspor and could be the answer to Wilder's wishes. He scored seven goals in 16 appearances for the Turkish side.
13.11 BST: Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is wanted on loan by West Ham United, The Sun on Sunday reports.
Rudiger was left out of the Chelsea squad entirely on Saturday as new arrival Thiago Silva made his debut for the club alongside Andreas Christensen at centre-back in the chaotic 3-3 draw at West Brom.
Germany international Rudiger, 27, could be convinced to make the move across London if it is made clear to him that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard doesn't want him and West Ham can provide him with the first-team football he needs before next summer's European Championship.
The Sun on Sunday report adds that West Ham have already made unsuccessful loan enquiries regarding Rob Holding at Arsenal and Manchester United's Chris Smalling.

12.26 BST: Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman said it was the club's decision to get rid of Luis Suarez and that he showed the striker respect during their brief time working together.
Suarez, 33, joined La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid after six seasons at Camp Nou this week in a deal which could eventually be worth €6m to Barca. The decision to let go of Suarez, who had one year left to run on his contract, was criticised by Lionel Messi on Friday. The Barca captain accused the club of being disrespectful with the way they forced him out.
Koeman was in charge of communicating to Suarez that he wouldn't have a role to play at the club this season but stressed the call had already been made by the club before he was appointed.
"It seems I'm the bad guy in this movie," the Dutch coach said at a news conference on Saturday. "But that's not the case.
"I have shown respect to Luis -- the player and the person -- from day one. I always said it would be tough to give him minutes but that if he stayed he would be part of the squad. I told the club that as well.
"But it was a decision made by the club. Before I came in as the coach, the club had already made decisions to change things. There are young players here. It wasn't a decision made by me alone, but also by the club."
11.39 BST: Manchester United and AC Milan are both in the race to sign 16-year-old Argentine forward Alex Luna, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The report adds that United would allow Luna, who plays for second-tier Atletico Rafaela in his homeland, to remain there to develop for another year before bringing him to England in 2022 if they were able to sign him.
Luna has been monitored by plenty of Europe's top clubs including Bayern Munich. Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Manchester City. Another club is Atletico Madrid, who are coached by Diego Simeone, and Luna was quoted in AS earlier this month as saying he would be happy to work with his countryman.
"[Simeone] is a very good coach," he said. "Who would say no to him? I would love for him to lead me."
10.52 BST: Chelsea will submit a £40m bid to West Ham to sign midfielder Declan Rice, according to The Sun on Sunday.
Rice was a trainee at Chelsea before moving across London to join the Hammers in 2014, and his since established himself and an England international and one of the Premier League's most promising young midfielders. Although no fee is mentioned in the latest report, West Ham have previously been reported as valuing the 21-year-old at around £70m.
Rice's versatility as a defensive midfielder and a centre-back means he would complement Chelsea's other big-money summer arrivals: attackers Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, left-back Ben Chilwell and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
10.19 BST: Barcelona have had a bid of €20m plus add-ons accepted by Ajax for United States international defender Sergino Dest, sources have told ESPN's Tom Hamilton.
Dest, 19, and his representatives are discussing personal terms as Ronald Koeman closes in on his first signing as Barca boss.
Bayern Munich were also in the race, according to ESPN sources, but have not been able to agree a deal with Ajax for the right back.
Koeman has had a long-standing interest in Dest. When he was Netherlands manager, he tried to persuade Dest to declare for the Oranje, but Dest opted for the USMNT.

09.48 BST: Liverpool's young striker Rhian Brewster wants to hold talks with Crystal Palace in the hope of launching his Premier League career in earnest, The Sun on Sunday reports.
Brewster, 20, scored 11 goals in 22 appearances on loan at Championship club Swansea last season, but Liverpool are reportedly willing to let him leave the club permanently.
Sheffield United and Aston Villa are also interested in signing the England youth international, but the Sun on Sunday reports that Palace are London-born Brewster's first-choice destination if he is to leave Anfield.
09.00 BST: Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane and captain Sergio Ramos said they are relaxed about the club's lack of summer signings.
Madrid edged out Real Betis 3-2 in an eventful game for their first win of the La Liga season on Saturday, thanks to a late Ramos penalty that was furiously protested by Betis. Ramos again showed nerves of steel to chip into the net from the spot after a VAR review for a handball by Betis defender Marc Bartra, who appeared to have been pushed by Madrid forward Borja Mayoral.
Asked about adding any players to the squad after a match in which none of Madrid's forwards scored, Zidane said: "No. We've talked about it, I'm happy with the squad I have, we are who we are, and we'll try to have a good season."
Ramos added: "It isn't for us to question the squad. We are who we are. If someone has to come in, we'll always have the door open to them, and if not, we are who we are. Those of us who are here have to stand up. We'll see if anyone comes or not, but we won't live with one signing or another."
PAPER TALK (by Danny Lewis): Milan, Roma enter Aarons race
AC Milan and AS Roma are making an attempt to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons, reports Sky Sports.
Both Italian clubs are intending to submit an offer for the 20-year-old soon -- as are Bayern Munich -- but Aarons would rather wait to see how Dest's aforementioned situation unfolds before making a decision.
Milan are also looking at Aarons' teammate Ben Godfrey but face competition from Bayer Leverkusen.

Lyon boss makes Aouar statement to Arsenal
There have been plenty of reports about Arsenal's position in their pursuit of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.

However, there has now been an update straight from Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, as he has sent a very public message to the Gunners.
He has stated that they will need to increase their offer if they are to sign the 22-year-old, who has been one of the London club's biggest targets this transfer window.
It was added that he is depending on the talisman to lead his side against Lorient and in the club's Champions League campaign. It is quite clear he won't be pushed around.

- Riqui Puig is still determined to force his way into Barcelona's senior squad, but his situation has drawn interest from Europe, acording to Mundo Deportivo. The Spanish outlet reports that FC Porto and PSV Eindhoven are both looking into completing loan moves for the 21-year-old midfielder. It is expected that there will be more offers coming across Europe before the end of the transfer window.
- Sheffield United are turning their attention to free agent Daniel Sturridge as they search for a striker, reports The Daily Mail. Chris Wilder has been open in his desire to strengthen up top, with previous offers having been made for Rhian Brewster and Folarin Balogun to Liverpool and Arsenal, respectively. However, having failed to reach an agreement with either side, the Blades might look to the former England international for an injection of goals.
