The coronavirus pandemic has made the summer transfer window uncertain, but here are the rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.

Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele told manager Jose Mourinho that he never wants to play for him again following a clash last month, sources told ESPN's Julien Laurens. But Spurs aren't just going to accept any old offer for him.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Juventus are keen on the Frenchman and were willing to include former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as part of the deal.

Ramsey moved to Turin on a free transfer in a deal worth around £400,000-a-week in wages but has been made available by Juve this summer after failing to cement his place in the team. Juve recently signed midfielder Arthur Melo in a €70m swap deal with Barcelona which included €60m worth of Miralem Pjanic, and had designs on doing the same to move on Ramsey.

Unsurprisingly, Spurs weren't that keen on the ex-Gunner. Though we'll await news of a further offer from Italy.

22.12 BST: Goal reports that Leicester City are ready to make a renewed bid for centre-back Jannik Vestergaard, having failed to complete a £26m deal for the 27-year-old in January. With the Denmark international unable to break in to Ralph Hasenhuttl's side since the winter window, the Foxes could be in position to get their man at a discounted price compared to the terms being discussed six months ago.

21.25 BST: West Ham are the latest club to register their interest in 21-year-old Real Valladolid centre-back Mohammed Salisu, according to the Mail, joining Manchester United, Everton and Southampton in monitoring the Ghanaian, who has a £10.8m release clause.

20.38 BST: What would Thiago Alcantara bring to Anfield? According to our Liverpool legend Steve Nichol, a Xabi Alonso-like presence in midfield.

19.51 BST: Brescia outcast Mario Balotelli could soon be plying his trade in South America, with Tuttosport writing that the 30-year-old Italy striker is considering moves to Argentine giants Boca Juniors and Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo.

19.04 BST: Now that his playing career is over, following a long career with Roma and a swansong at Boca Juniors, Daniele De Rossi is being lined up to take over as manager of Fiorentina, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

18.17 BST: If Chelsea are successful in their courtship of 21-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, the Express reports that the Blues could consider offloading both Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to help balance the books and make room in the engine room of Stamford Bridge.

17.30 BST: Chelsea are keeping tabs on Villarreal defender Pau Torres, says the Daily Mail.

Torres, 23, has a €50m release clause in his contract and has been linked with Arsenal and Barcelona.

16.37 BST: Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has caught the eye of PSG, says the Daily Mail.

Saint-Maximin, 23, joined from Nice last summer for £16.5m and has impressed in the Premier League.

Tottenham are interested, but a return to France could be on the cards with the Ligue 1 champions reportedly joining the race for his signature.

14.43 BST: Lille have identified Canada international Jonathan David as a replacement for Victor Osimhen, who is about to be sold to Napoli, sources have told ESPN's Julian Laurens.

David, 20, who plays for Gent in Belgium, had a superb 2019-2020 season with 18 goals and eight assists in 27 league matches, as well as three goals in seven Europa League games, including a brace against another French club, St Etienne, back in September.

In only his second season in Europe, the striker has attracted interest from many clubs. However, Lille have the edge in the race to sign him. Sources have told ESPN that Gent have put a €25m price take on their player although, amid the coronavirus pandemic, his transfer could be negotiated around €18-20m.

Negotiations are well under way between the two clubs and David's agent. The Brooklyn-born forward, who can play as a striker, as a second striker or wide, would replace Osimhen, who also came from the Belgian league last summer, and could soon be sold to Napoli for €70m.

Luis Campos and his scouts came across David at the Toulon tournament in 2018 where he featured for Canada U23 despite only being 18 at the time.

14.00 BST: ESPN's Rob Dawson spoke to Jonathan Barnett, co-founder of Stellar Group and Garth Bale's representative as well as one of the most influential agents in the world, about the future of the transfer market amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"Clubs have suffered losses and it will take time to get back because they will have to recoup them. But when the crowds come back, the money comes back into the game, it will carry on as normal. Slowly things are coming back but it will take a while. There's no doubt about that.

"We've maintained a slightly different view because we haven't really been looking to talk about football with clubs. With this virus going on and unfortunately a lot of people being ill and dying, it wasn't the right time to start talking about transfers and things like that. We haven't really gone into that aspect of it. As we're coming out of it and clubs start to play again, then we can start to talk."

13.39 BST: Tuttosport reports that Roma forward Edin Dzeko is of interest to Juventus.

Manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to increase his attacking options and the 34-year-old is top of a list which also includes the younger (and much more expensive) Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli and Wolves' Raul Jimenez.

13.00 BST: The ESPN Insider Notebook is live and there's some interesting transfer angles, including:

- Paul Pogba has rarely been happier at Manchester United and is keen to stay at the club, sources have told ESPN's Julien Laurens, with the turnaround in his mood in part due to his relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

- Benfica approached Mauricio Pochettino to become their coach but he said he needed more time to consider his options, a source told ESPN's Adriana Garcia.

- Manchester City are disappointed to have lost Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich for €49m, plus €11m in add-ons, but they believe they have secured one of the biggest deals of the coronavirus-affected transfer market, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.

- A telephone call from Dani Alves helped convince Arthur Melo to leave Barcelona and sign for Juventus this week, sources have told ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens.

12.10 BST: Manchester City defender John Stones could be set to move on this summer and his former club Everton are interested, alongside Arsenal.

Stones has yet to make a single appearance for the club since the Premier League restart and the rise of 19-year-old Eric Garcia could see him depart.

The Sun claims that Everton are eyeing up a cut-price deal for the 26-year-old, with the Gunners also ready to spend around £30m.

11.23 BST: ICYMI - Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has requested a minimum three-year contract worth up to £250,000-a-week to stay at Arsenal, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.

The 31-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his existing agreement with talks underway over an extension after a delay in negotiations due to the coronavirus pandemic.

11.03 BST: The Athletic reports that Liverpool are set to lose £60m by failing to sell Xherdan Shaqiri, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic.

The coronavirus pandemic has hit football club finances and the Reds were looking to move on some of their fringe players to raise cash. But they will keep them for another year instead, and choose not to spend big on a major star.

10.05 BST: Manchester United want Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, but would he improve them?

09.47 BST: Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara is set to leave the Bundesliga side in the close season because he wants a new challenge, the club's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said.

The 29-year-old, who joined Bayern in 2013 from Barcelona for €25m, has since played 230 games and won seven league titles with the German champions. Premier League champions Liverpool have been linked with a move for the player.

"A top man on and off the pitch. We negotiated with him in a serious way and fulfilled all his wishes. But it now seems that he wants to do something new for one more time," Rummenigge told Bild in an interview on published on Friday.

Thiago's deal with Bayern ends next season and Rummenigge said they had no choice but to sell the player as they did not want to let him go without receiving a transfer fee: "We do not want to lose any player without any money next year."

09.34 BST: AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer is on the radar of Manchester United and Manchester City. 

Algerian outlet Competition reports that the 22-year-old former Arsenal midfielder is open to a move this summer and has caught the eye of two of the biggest clubs in England.

French champions PSG have already had a reported €40m offer rejected but the Algerian could be signed for an extra €10m.

09.00 BST: Lyon have reportedly put striker Moussa Dembele up for sale, according to L'Equipe.

Dembele, 24, has been a star at the club and has been linked to various top clubs including Manchester Unied and Arsenal. Lyon, who missed out on Champions League football when the Ligue 1 season was ended due to the coronavirus pandemic, want around €50m for him.

Chelsea move into pole position for Havertz

Frank Lampard has been handed a major boost in his pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz, with Bayern Munich ruling themselves out of the race for the in-demand attacking midfielder, according to Bild.
