TOP STORY: Manchester City show interest in Coman
Sky Sports News is reporting that Manchester City are interested in Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.
It is said to depend on whether or not the proposed deal that will see Leroy Sane go to Bayern goes through. The German star was heavily linked with a move to the Bundesliga champions during the summer transfer window, but it never quite came to fruition.
Coman, on the other hand, has been managed by Pep Guardiola in the past during the Spaniard's spell with Bayern and is viewed as the ideal replacement if Sane departs the Etihad.
Despite being only 23, Coman has already won league titles in France, Italy and Germany with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern.
The France international got off to a strong start this season, scoring six goals in his first nine games for club and country. However, he has not found the net at all in the past two months.

22.54 GMT: Italian outlet La Nazione claims that Barcelona are favourites to sign Fiorentina standout Nikola Milenkovic.
The 22-year-old defender has caught the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs due to his performances with La Viola and is being linked with a big-money move in January. The Serbia international joined Fiorentina from Partizan Belgrade in 2017 and is valued at over €60 million.
La Liga leaders Barcelona, who have Gerard Pique, Clement Lenget and Samuel Umtiti at present, are always looking to strengthen their squad and young Milenkovic would be an interesting purchase.
22.00 GMT: The Los Angeles Galaxy have solved part of their Zlatan Ibrahimovic-sized hole in attack...
The club has announced they have extended the loan deal of Argentine youngster Cristian Pavon from Boca Juniors through the 2020 season. The highly-rated 23-year-old joined the club in August and produced three goals and eight assists in 11 games for the club.
Pavon, who has 11 caps for Argentina, played at the 2018 World Cup for La Albiceleste and will be asked to pick up much of the production vacated by the departing Ibrahimovic.
21.13 GMT: Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa was one of Cardiff City's top performers last season while on loan from Real Betis.
This season in England hasn't gone as well for the 25-year-old, as Camarasa has appeared just once for Crystal Palace on loan. But there could be hope on the way as The Sun is reporting that Betis are willing to pay to end Camarasa's loan early in order to find him a club to get regular playing time.
Camarasa has been an unused substitute for most of the season and relegation-threatened Norwich could find use for the creative midfielder. With little money to spend in January, a loan deal would seemingly suit all involved.
20.31 GMT: Borussia Monchengladbach defensive midfielder Denis Zakaria has become a trendy name in transfer rumours of late.
The 22-year-old, who has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United recently, will not be going anywhere in January, according to Zakaria's agent, Mathieu Beda.
"Denis will not leave Borussia in the winter, a change is 100 per cent excluded," Beda told German publication Sport BILD .
"Denis is in very good shape in Gladbach and has been playing really well for weeks, but he still has more potential and he wants to show that in Gladbach now instead of dealing with a change."
The Switzerland international is under contract through the end of the 2021-22 season, and is also attracting the interest from Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
19.07 GMT: New York Red Bulls and United States men's national team centre-back Aaron Long is a player starting to garner some attention from Europe.
Linked with a Premier League move in the summer, West Ham ultimately failed to get the work permit necessary to sign the 27-year-old. Now, according to Sky Sports News, Premier League side Southampton have been offered the chance to sign the U.S. defender.
Long, who kow qualifies for a foreign work permit due to his growing role with the UMSNT, supposedly has a $6 million release clause and has also been linked with French outfit Marseille.
18.24 GMT: Staying in the Championship, new Stoke manager Michael O'Neill has reportedly identified his No.1 attacking target for the Potters.
The Scottish Sun claims that the Potters have been monitoring in-form Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove and are eyeing a January swoop for the 22-year-old. Cosgrove, who has 16 goals this season and scored 21 last campaign, has a big fan in O'Neill, who previously looked into the striker's eligibility to represent Northern Ireland.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes is desperate to keep his prolific goalscorer and has insisted Cosgrove will no be going nowhere.
"We've had enquiries about Sam already from other clubs but he will be staying with us this season."
17.32 GMT: Leeds currently sit third in the English Championship table but don't expect Marcelo Bielsa and Co. to rest on their laurels in January.
The Sunday People writes that Bielsa is looking to add a new goalkeeper in the upcoming transfer window and has linked Championship veteran David Stockdale with a move to the Whites. The 34-year-old has been around the block in England playing for 15 different teams, notably Fulham, Brighton Hove and Albion and Birmingham City. The veteran shot-stopper has played just once over the past two seasons for Birmingham and is reportedly open to a move to his hometown club.
Kiko Casilla has played all 18 of Leeds' games so far this season.
16.55 GMT: When Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the LA Galaxy announced that they were mutually parting ways after two seasons together, the rumour mill started up about his next destination. Now the clock is ticking for the 38-year-old striker as he will be free to join another club in January.
ESPN FC sources said that Ibra is looking to join a club in the Champions League -- a trophy he's never won -- or one with which he has an emotional connection. He has played for eight European clubs throughout his career, earning 31 major trophies across five countries. It's no surprise that several clubs might be interested in his services, even at his age and a source in MLS recently intimated that Ibra has "received several offers" and that the strongest likelihood is "probably in Italy."
Here's a breakdown of his options.
16.03 GMT: Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is unhappy with being asked to play a different role for the club, according to his agent Pablo Bentancur.
"I must say that the change of role has penalised him sharply. He is no longer at ease and we hope that things can change," Bentancur told Calciomercato.
"We have no problem with Arsenal but only words of thanks. Arsenal has allowed Lucas to compete in the Premier League, he has always been shown great confidence. Clearly there's interest for Torreira, especially from Spanish clubs, but I have never sat down with any club to talk about his transfer. This is because of the great respect we have for the Gunners and their general manager Raul Sanllhei."
Atletico Madrid, Napoli and AC Milan have all been linked with the 23-year-old Uruguayan.

14.35 GMT: Turkish newspaper Fanatik reports that Arsenal are leading the race for Juventus defender Merih Demiral.
Demiral, 21, has struggled since moving to Turin from Sassoulo in the summer and has fallen behind €75m arrival Matthijs de Ligt in the pecking order.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to spend €40m on the Turkey international to bolster their defence and the report says they'll make a move in January.
13.23 GMT: United's policy is to buy young and British and Reading striker Danny Loader is reportedly on their radar according to Sky Sports.
Loader, 20, made his Reading debut as a 16-year old for former manager Jaap Stam and almost moved to Wolves last summer.
But now the striker is out of contract this summer, he looks like he will have a wide selection of clubs to choose from.
13.04 GMT: Manchester United have a "clear vision" in terms of their transfer strategy and playing philosophy, according to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong, James Garner and Brandon Williams have all featured for the first team under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season and Woodward said the club is beginning to get back on track after six years of mixed results since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
12.30 GMT: Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal has been busy.
First up, he told Mundo Deportivo that Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman fits the criteria to coach Barcelona one day but that Ernesto Valverde retains the club's backing.
Then he refused to rule out a summer move for PSG forward Neymar, with Sport reporting that the club haven't given up on bringing the Brazilian back to Camp Nou.
Then he confirmed Barcelona are already in negotiations to renew Lionel Messi's contract. We'll leave it to you to decide whether that was a reaction to seeing the star No. 10 out and about with the Almeria owner.
12.02 GMT: With Aymeric Laporte injured and John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi struggling, Manchester City need defenders and that could be bad news for Arsenal.
The Gunners have been tracking Red Bull Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano, who will reportedly be available for around €60m once his €80m release clause comes down in the summer. But City are now keen, according to the Mirror.
11.12 GMT: Fabian Ruiz and Willian are putting their Napoli and Chelsea contract renewal talks on hold to wait for Barcelona to make a bid, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Real Madrid have already held talks with Napoli midfielder Fabian over a potential move to the Bernabeu next season, sources have told ESPN FC, while Willian is a free agent in the summer and will be able to talk to any interested clubs in January about a transfer.
10.09 GMT: Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka doesn't look like he'll be staying in January, with the Gunners keen to offer the 27-year-old to Borussia Monchengladbach, according to the Mirror.
In return, the club want first refusal on 22-year-old midfielder Denis Zakaria, who has attracted interest from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Man United, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
Swapping one Switzerland player for another, whatever next?
09.14 GMT: Spain golfer Sergio Garcia has come out in defence of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, who has been criticised for his love of golf.
The Spanish media have criticised Bale for thinking too much about golf and not about playing for the club. Bale, who had been sidelined with a calf injury since Oct. 13, started in Wales' last two qualifiers and said he feels "more excitement playing for Wales" than he does representing Real Madrid.
"For me that he likes golf is much better, it's much better that he plays 18 holes than that he goes out drinking until 4 a.m.," Garcia told Gol. "It's healthy, it's a sport and I'm delighted that he likes it."
Garcia and Bale met up last month at Spain's Golf Open. "We are friends," Garcia added. "I've played a few times with him and the truth is that he likes it a lot. He does it very well. He is very good."
08.38 GMT: Barcelona plan to sell midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the January transfer window, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 31-year-old has been linked with interest from Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Juventus and Manchester United. Sources told ESPN FC that a move to Old Trafford is unlikely because of family reasons.
Rakitic is out of contract in 2021, but the club wants to cash in on him before then. Sources told ESPN FC last month that Barcelona must bring in €124m in player sales before the end of the season or the club risks damaging its financial stability.
08.00 GMT: Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi insists he feels "at home" at Stamford Bridge and has no desire to leave the club which has sent him out on loan three times in as many years.
Batshuayi was a £33m signing from Marseille in 2016 but has never been first-choice, leading to loan spells at Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace.
This season he remains understudy to Tammy Abraham, but has still managed five goals in 11 appearances for his club as well as three in three internationals.
"I have never been a full-fledged starter, but Chelsea is my club, that's where I feel at home," The Sun quotes Batshuayi as saying after Belgium's 4-1 win over Russia on Saturday. "It's a club I love deeply."

Barcelona and Real Madrid want Skriniar
Barcelona and Real Madrid are both considering a move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, Corriere dello Sport reports.
The 24-year-old only renewed his contract with the Serie A contenders last season, although there was no buy-out clause attached to the deal. His stock has continued to rise in the early stages of the new campaign, and now, Inter are willing to listen to offers during the upcoming January transfer window.
It'll take a substantial fee for Inter to take any move seriously, but Barca and Real aren't exactly known for being short on transfer funds.
Kalinic set for Atletico Madrid return?
Nikola Kalinic is set to return to Atletico Madrid after a poor loan spell with Roma, Corriere dello Sport reports.
The Italian side are already looking ahead to bringing in another forward during the January transfer window, with Kalinic not meeting the expectations that had been set out for him when the deal first began.
Without a goal to his name in Rome there are some that wonder whether or not Atletico will give the 31-year-old another shot, or whether they'll attempt to cast him back out to another top European club.

- Arsenal have made contact with Reinier's father regarding a potential move for the Brazilian youngster, Mundo Deportivo reports.
