TOP STORY: Spurs line up huge bid for Lyon star Depay
Tottenham could be set to splash out £50 million to secure the services of former Manchester United man Memphis Depay, the Mirror reports. The Netherlands international has impressed during his time at Lyon, so much so that the London side are reportedly preparing a seismic bid for him.
Since signing for Lyon in 2017, the 25-year-old has been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, including the likes of Liverpool and his former employers.
However, if the Mirror are to be believed, Spurs might be the club that finally bring the forward back to the Premier League, where he previously endured a torrid spell for United between 2015 and 2017.
The Mirror also claims that Spurs have sent scouts to monitor Depay's teammate, Moussa Dembele, formally of Celtic and Fulham.

22.32 GMT: Tottenham are preparing for life without Christian Eriksen and 90mins reports that one potential replacement could be Ajax star Hakim Ziyech.
With Eriksen set to leave the club on a free transfer this summer, Ziyech, 26, is a tricky customer who has starred on the Champions League stage in each of the past two seasons. Ziyech, who amassed 21 goals and 24 assists last season, is reportedly high on Daniel Levy's wishlist, with Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes, Roma's Lorenzo Pellegrini and Brais Mendez of Celta Vigo also viewed as options.
Spurs will be familiar with Ziyech from last season's Champions League, as the Morocco international scored in the second leg of the the clubs' semi-final in Amsterdam.
21.50 GMT: Rafa Benitez traded Newcastle for China this summer and a few of his former charges could be open to joining him in the Far East.
The Sunday People, via HITC, claims that out-of-favour Jonjo Shelvey and Dwight Gayle are both intrigued by the lucrative Chinese Super League. Both players are out of contract in 18 months' time but a reunion with Benitez at Dalian Yifang remains unlikely, as neither would figure to be the cash-laden club's first choice in the winter window.
20.21 GMT: Leeds have agreed to a contract extension with Poland international Mateusz Klich.
Klich, 29, who has been a lynchpin in midfield for the Whites under Marcelo Bielsa, has inked a new four-and-a-half-year contract at Elland Road. Last season Klich was one of Leeds' standout performers notching 10 goals and added another nine assists.
19.46 GMT: Luis Suarez to MLS?
Seattle Sounders midfielder and Uruguay teammate Nicolas Lodeiro believes Suarez will join the league in the near future. "Sooner or later he'll come to MLS. Well, hopefully," Lodeiro told MLSSoccer.com "He likes the league. He's always asking me things about it. Hopefully he can also play for Seattle Sounders. It may be a more difficult task. I think it's only a matter of time before he's out here."
Suarez, 32, has eight goals in 13 appearances this for Barcelona and has a contract through 2021. David Beckham's new club, Inter Miami CF, which begin play in 2020, have been heavily linked with a move for the Uruguayan striker.
18.33 GMT: Monaco loanee Djibril Sidibe has been impressive of late at right-back for Everton. But will the Toffees make his move permanent?
The Boot Room have revealed that Everton will only need to pay Monaco £12.75 million to buy Sidibe outright after the end of his loan spell. With the way the Frenchman is playing at the moment, that would seem to be a no-brainer for Marco Silva and Co.
17.40 GMT: Liverpool and Arsenal have had plenty of battles on the pitch over the years and the two could soon have another in the transfer market over West Brom starlet Rico Richards.
The Sun claims the two sides are monitoring the highly-regarded 16-year-old, who has already seen action with the Baggies' Under-23 side. The youngster's contract expires next year and West Brom will be hoping to sign him to an extension, something they were unable to do with other young talents Morgan Rogers and Louie Barry.
16.53 GMT: Manchester United recently re-upped goalkeeper David De Gea through 2023, but that hasn't stopped the Mirror from linking United with another goalkeeper.
The Mirror reports that United have joined Tottenham in the race for Ajax shot-stopper Andre Onana. The 23-year-old Cameroon international has caught the eye of many of Europe's elite due to his performances in the Champions League over the past two seasons and is expected to live Ajax at some point in the near future.
The Dutch side are looking for £50 million for Onana, but at the moment, it would seem that United have much bigger needs than a new goalkeeper.
16.02 GMT: Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton has attracted the interest of Burnley, according to the Scottish Sun.
Bitton, 28, has a contract which expires at the end of the season but Burnley are reportedly hoping to steal a march on their competition by offering £1m for the Israeli international.
15.14 GMT: Arsenal remain behind manager Unai Emery and sources have told ESPN FC that Luis Enrique would not consider a return to coaching right now after leaving the Spain job for personal reasons in June.
Sources said that he likes to build projects and would not like to arrive at a club mid-season.
14.49 GMT: Because football is turning into the NBA, Juventus are reportedly ready to offer FOUR players for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Tuttosport.
Those four are Mario Mandzukic, Emre Can, Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi -- of which only two are really of any interest -- while the deal could be completed in January.
13.51 GMT: Both Corriere dello Sport and Gazetta dello Sport are reporting that Napoli forward Dries Mertens could be set to join Inter Milan.
Mertens, 32, is a free agent in the summer and things at the club are difficult at the moment after a first-team mutiny which saw them refuse to go on a retreat.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis and boss Carlo Ancelotti are struggling to keep a lid on tensions and Mertens' exit could be the spark that ignites more flames. He's reportedly agreed terms with Inter on a two-year deal next summer.
12.15 GMT: Would you ever go back to a former job? Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha may have that choice to make as the Sun reports that Man United are frontrunners to sign him again.
Zaha, 27, signed for United for £15m in 2013 but was back at Palace on loan within a year and then permanently in 2015 for around £3m.
Now, with Arsenal and Everton interested too, he's worth £70m. How times change.
11.24 GMT: Even after the 2-0 defeat to Leicester, Unai Emery still has the support of the Arsenal hierarchy, sources have told ESPN FC.
He won't be sacked and everything Julien Laurens reported last week remains true today.
10.59 GMT: Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren almost joined AS Roma in the summer after slipping down the pecking order at Anfield, but he won't be allowed to leave in January.
Football Insider reports that the 30-year-old will be told to stay and fight for his place, which he has gained back with some solid performances in recent weeks.
09.43 GMT: While on the subject of Arsenal, the Sun reports that they could lose goalkeeper Bernd Leno to Bayern Munich.
Leno, 27, is the No. 1 choice to replace the legendary Manuel Neuer at the Bundesliga giants when he eventually passes on the gloves. Leno is still Germany's third-choice goalkeeper and the move could push him higher in his national team pecking order.
09.00 GMT: Arsenal are in trouble and reports suggest they are looking for an alternative to manager Unai Emery after a poor 2-0 defeat to Leicester yesterday.
El Confidencial's Kike Marin says that Arsenal's head of football Raul Sanllehi has approached former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique about the position.
Jose Mourinho has also been considered but sources told ESPN FC that a move for the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss appears some way off at present.
However, Arsenal reporter David Ornstein says that the Gunners' bosses are "100% behind Emery" -- they have denied considering change or talking to candidates and plan to review in summer.

Milinkovic-Savic at the top of Lampard's wish list
Chelsea will reportedly make Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic their No. 1 transfer target once they can buy players again.
The Mirror claims that the Serbia international, who is valued at €70m, could be the first Chelsea arrival should the club's transfer ban be overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The 24-year-old powerhouse, who helped Lazio win the Coppa Italia last season, could help provide manager Frank Lampard with more options in the midfield area, as well as introduce some vital experience to the squad that many of the club's younger players could learn from.
Chelsea name Giroud asking price
Chelsea have reportedly named their asking price for out-of-favour striker Olivier Giroud.
The 33-year-old has struggled for game time this season, thanks to the emergence of Tammy Abraham. As a result, a number of clubs from around Europe have been linked with the French World Cup winner.
However, the Express reports that any club interested in the forward will have to pay a fee of £5m to secure his services, with bids expected to arrive once the winter transfer window reopens in January.

- Despite emerging reports linking Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a dramatic AC Milan return, the chances of the move being completed anytime soon remain "very low," according to Calciomercato. The Milan brass reportedly have a great deal of respect for the LA Galaxy star and consider him as one the few players who could come in and have an immediate impact on the team.
Currently, the chances of a return to the Rossoneri are thought to be unlikely, however, as it is rumoured that Ibrahimovic has an agreement with another unnamed European club.
- Roma could be set to agree a deal with Manchester United over the permanent signing of English centre-back Chris Smalling, according to Corriere Dello Sport. The 29-year-old signed on a season-long loan back in August, but the Italian paper claims that Roma are already preparing a €15m bid, which is thought to be €3m shy of United's current asking price.
