David Beckham makes hot-tub cameo with Courteney Cox on 'Modern Family'

David Beckham took time out from his busy schedule to make a hot-tub cameo along with actress and "Friends" star Courteney Cox and the results were, well, pretty good!

The Toe Poke Daily is here every day to bring you all the weirdest stories, quirkiest viral content and top trolling that the internet has to offer, all in one place.

JUMP TO: Mbappe's 'near worldy' worth a look | David Silva's cake: The eyes have it | PSG go pear-shaped

Beckham, the former Manchester United, PSG and LA Galaxy star, played himself in the episode of "Modern Family," running around a luxury apartment complex in Los Angeles with Cox and the rest of the cast amid the backdrop of a celebrity bowling tournament.

Behind the scenes, Beckham snapped a few pictures with stars of the long-running TV show, which is calling curtains on things at the end of this, its 11th season.

It's not Beckham's first foray on the screen, as he had minor roles in Guy Ritchie films "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword," as well as "Goal!" That said, we think he might be better served focusing on the task at hand, as his MLS franchise Inter Miami prepares for Thursday's SuperDraft ahead of its inaugural season in 2020!

Mbappe's 'near worldy' worth a look

Kylian Mbappe is no stranger to scoring spectacular goals, and while this Panenka effort against Saint Etienne in PSG's runaway Coupe de la Ligue win on Wednesday didn't hit the back of the net, it is truly worth a look.

The Ligue 1 leaders beat the visitors soundly by a final score of 6-1, thanks in large part to a Mauro Icardi hat trick. Mbappe got on the scoresheet as well in the win, but it was his near miss that caught our eye in his team's procession to the semifinals of the competition.

David Silva's cake: The eyes have it

David Silva celebrated his 34th birthday this week, spending the day with his young son, Mateo, who turned one just a few days earlier.

The pair marked the occasion with an elaborate double birthday cake which featured mini icing sculptures of Silva and his boy sitting together.

Unfortunately, the baker opted to bestow the figurines with a rather terrifying expression, with Silva's in particular looking like it was preparing to wreak evil across the land.

We don't claim to be experts in the field, but it might be worth adding eyelids next time.

PSG go pear-shaped

When it comes to club merchandise, there really isn't anything left that PSG haven't slapped their badge on and flogged to their fans.

However, just when you thought there were no markets left to conquer, the French giants go and announce they are striding into the lucrative (?) world of craft pear juice.

Outlined on their official website, PSG will produce the artisanal juice from trees located in two orchards at their new training centre in Poissy.

What's more, 1,000 bottles of the 100% organic perry will be served to those enjoying hospitality experiences at the Parc des Princes from now until the end of the season.
