- United launch 'savannah-toned' 2019-20 away kit

With football on the back-burner for at least another couple of weeks, several well-known stars took the opportunity to revel in the drama at Lord's, at Silverstone as well as Wimbledon.

Man City's third kit is straight out of hell

Man City have unveiled a new third kit for the 2019-20 season which is probably most politely described as "garish."

The audacious strip was unveiled to coincide with City's arrival in Shanghai, China, on their preseason tour of Asia.

Redolent in neon yellow and faded peach, the kit is purposefully "vibrant and disruptive" as to embody the "modernity and technically skilled attacking football" of Pep Guardiola's reigning Premier League champions.

It's also certainly provoked reaction from fans and not all of it positive, with the "vomit" emoji featuring prominently across social media.

Aaron Ramsey's new 'visual identity'

To coincide with his big move to Juventus, Aaron Ramsey has become the latest footballer to launch his very own eponymous personal brand,

The Welsh midfielder revealed his new "visual identity" on Monday along with his very own corporate logo, which comprises his initials.

So what is this, we hear you ask? Well, it appears to be an arty "AR". Was it really worth all the effort?

As such Ramsey joins the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Manchester United superstar Phil Jones in possessing his very own brand identity.

Can't wait to see what stellar AR merchandise will be coming our way as soon as his official website goes live.

Alves' alternative bottle cap challenge

The #bottlecapchallenge continues to roll on. We've already brought you the brilliance of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and the response from Paul Pogba. Now it's the turn of Dani Alves, who could be set for a move to the Premier League.

Rather than follow the lead of Ibrahimovic, Pogba and, well, the rest of the world. Alves decided to use an altogether different method to complete the challenge.....
