          The end of MD1 at 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar saw Cristiano Ronaldo script new records, Brazil make an instantaneous mark and one more goalless draw.

          Switzerland beat Cameroon by one goal and South Korea and Uruguay played out a 0-0 draw before Ghana opened the account for Africa but it was Portugal who came through with Ronaldo opening his account in Qatar via penalty. The night ended with an early goal of the tournament contender from Richarlison as Brazil beat Serbia 2-0.
