Lille were crowned champions of France, a point ahead of mighty Paris Saint-Germain in the headline act of a thrilling Sunday that brought to a close the remainder of the 'big five' European leagues. In England, Chelsea and Liverpool qualified for next year's Champions League, leaving Leicester City to contend themselves with a place in the Europa League. Manchester City and Manchester United, meanwhile, both won. In Italy, another three-way battle for the final two Champions League spots ended with AC Milan and Juventus making it, with Napoli finishing fifth. Oh, and Cristiano Ronaldo now has another bit of trivia to his name.

Manchester United have become just the fourth side to remain unbeaten away from home across an entire English top-flight campaign (P19 W12 D7 L0), after Preston (1888-89), Arsenal (2001-02) and Arsenal again (2003-04). All the other teams won the division.

Harry Kane finished the season topping both the PL goal-scoring and assist-making charts (23 goals, 14 assists). This is only the second time in PL history a player has finished with the outright most goals and assists, after Andy Cole in 1993-94.

Kane has won the PL Golden Boot for a third season (also won in 2015-16 and 2016-17). He's now only the third player in the PL era to win the award as many as three times, after Thierry Henry (4) and Alan Shearer (3).
