Meanwhile Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the Europa League, with Wolves in with a chance to make UCL if they win UEL this season. Virgil van Dijk has become only the fifth outfield player to play every single minute in a season for the title-winning side in PL history -- after Cesar Azpilicueta (2016/17), Wes Morgan (2015/16), John Terry (2014/15), and Gary Pallister (1992/93).

A very different 5

Only eight PL teams have conceded more penalties than David Luiz has (5) this season. He now holds the record for most penalties conceded in a PL season.

Manchester City may not have been consistent this season, but when they've turned it on, they've been spectacular. City won seven PL games by 5+ goals this season -- a new record.

14

Manchester United's penalty at Leicester City was their 14th PL spot-kick of the season, the most one side has ever won in a single campaign in the competition.

15

Since Bruno Fernandes debuted with United on Feb. 1, only two players in Europe's top-5 leagues have made more than his 15 goal contributions (8 G, 7 A) in league play. Who, you ask? Well, those two. Lionel Messi has 26; Cristiano Ronaldo has 16 and counting.

20

Kevin De Bruyne has 20 assists this season -- a joint PL record (alongside Thierry Henry in 2002-03.

De Bruyne now joins Lionel Messi (21 in 2019-20), Thomas Müller (21 in 2019-20) and himself (20 in 2014-15 with Wolfsburg) as the only players with 20 assists in Europe's top 5 leagues in the last 10 years.

32

How good were the champions? Liverpool won 32 Premier League games this season, a joint-record in the history of the English top-flight alongside Manchester City (32 in both 2017-18 and 2018-19).

33

Age ain't no bar for a Jamie Vardy party. At 33, Vardy has become the oldest player the win the PL golden boot. That's a year older than the previous record holder - Didier Drogba was 32 when he smashed in 29 goals in 2009/10.

44

A glorious stat to showcase the topsy-turvy nature of this season: Since Southampton lost 0-9 against Leicester City on October 25th 2019, they went on to earn a further 44 points - two more than Leicester managed to win since that night (42).

99

Liverpool finished the season with 99 points, the second-highest return in English top-flight history behind only Manchester City's 100 points in 2017-18.

100

Manchester City have scored 100+ league goals in a top-flight season for a fifth time, an English record (they also scored 100+ in 1936-37, 1957-58, 2013-14 and 2017-18).

Ronaldo 13 after 30, Buffon record 10 - the incredible numbers from Juve's ninth straight Scudetto

10

Why have they been so efficient after the return of football post-lockdown? A part of it has to do with the brilliance of their no. 7. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in this post-lockdown period, more than any other player in the Europe's top 5 leagues (9 for Raheem Sterling and Robert Lewandowski).

31

Ronaldo has now netted 31 goals in the current league season. In Juventus' history only Felice Borel has scored more in a single Serie A campaign (32 in 1933/34). With two games to go, would you dare bet against this 86-year-old record being broken?

36
