ATK Mohun Bagan's Boris Singh Thangjam tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, the first such case involving an active Indian footballer.

Boris came to prominence as a key member of India's 2017 FIFA U-17 world cup team, playing as the right back in two of India's three matches in the tournament.

Boris was signed by ATK in 2018 after spending two years in the All India Football Federation's developmental side, Indian Arrows.

He was also a part of the India U-20 team that beat Argentina 2-1 in the COTIF tournament in Spain in 2018.
