Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez has been left out of Mexico's 23-man roster for the Concacaf Nations League finals this month. González remains the lone player in the 23-man roster that has yet to earn an appearance for the senior national team. Following the Nations League, Mexico will take part in friendlies vs. Bolivia (May 31 at Soldier Field in Chicago), Uruguay (June 5 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver) and Brazil (June 8 at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas) in preparation for the 2024 Copa América. At the Copa América, which will also be hosted in the U.S. and kicks off on June 20, Mexico are set to face Ecuador, Venezuela and Jamaica in the group stage. Earlier this week, the FMF revealed the national team's latest kits that will be used at the Copa América. Later in 2024, El Tri will also take part in U.S.-based friendlies vs. New Zealand (Sept. 7 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena) and Canada (Sept. 10 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington). Still seeking match fitness but recently recovering from injury, Jiménez could soon make his return for Fulham vs. Tottenham on Saturday. Ahead of the Premier League match, Fulham head coach Marco Silva said: "Everyone is available. All the players can be involved."
