Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola: I hope Pepe Reina is Milan's No. 1

Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola has indicated that his client will leave AC Milan in the summer, saying he would like to see Pepe Reina in goal for them next season.

Donnarumma signed a new four-year contract at Milan last summer, but doubts remain over his future after Raiola claimed he had been put under pressure to sign.

The goalkeeper denied that was the case, but Raiola is set to seek a new destination if Milan fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

The club have already moved to bring in cover, with Napoli's Reina reported to have undergone a medical ahead of a free transfer when his contract runs out in the summer.

Many of Europe's top clubs are understood to be interested in 19-year-old Donnarumma, and Raiola told Radio 24: "I hope that Reina is Milan's No. 1 goalkeeper next year."

But the agent also said he had doubts over Donnarumma's future with Italy if Gianluigi Buffon prolongs his playing career.

"We're not going to see him in the national team, because if a new cycle starts with Buffon then he's going to stick around until Euro 2020, otherwise what's he doing there?" he added.

"We need people like [Alessandro] Costacurta, [Marco] Branca and people who can overrule the coach on decisions like these.

"We need to see precise technical plans to build a future."
