Arturo Vidal will join Bayern Munich from Juventus if he passes a medical, the German champions have announced. Bayern had been in negotiations with a view to signing Vidal, 28, from Juventus since last week in a deal that could be worth up to €35 million. The transfer will be sealed as long as Vidal successfully completes a medical and then signs his contract when he returns from holidays in Miami. Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "I can confirm that there is an agreement with both parties. All that's missing is the medical examination. "If everything runs as normal, he'll be at training next week." Juve's general manager, Beppe Marotta, said earlier this week that Vidal had agreed a five-year contract with Bayern. Rummenigge has also reiterated that the Bavarians have no intention of selling Thomas Muller to Manchester United. Speculation had been mounting that the attacker, 25, could follow in the footsteps of Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger, who left Bayern for United last week. On Monday, German TV channel Sport 1 claimed that United were willing to pay as much as €100 million to have Muller on board as they seek to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League. But on Thursday, Rummenigge sought to put an end to such rumours, dismissing them as "a wild duck over the Pacific" in kicker. He added: "There are players who don't have a price tag. We would be taking leave of our senses if we let Muller go."
