PSG's Neymar on course to return vs. Monaco in potential title clincher - sources

Paris Saint-Germain could have Neymar back for Sunday's potential Ligue 1 title-deciding clash with Monaco at Parc des Princes as the Brazil international is to undergo tests in the build-up, sources have told ESPN FC.

Sources have confirmed Neymar will be examined on Friday and Saturday with a view to making his return from a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot. The 27-year-old, who has not played since he was injured during a 2-0 Coupe de France win over Strasbourg in January, has indicated to PSG's medical staff that he feels ready to return.

Minutes against Monaco will make significant game time in the Coupe de France final against Rennes a major possibility as he steps up his recovery ahead of this summer's Copa America in Brazil.

Neymar, who has been charged by UEFA for his criticism of video assisted refereeing following the round-of-16 Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester United, has already indicated to PSG that he will be at the club next season -- as has Kylian Mbappe -- according to ESPN FC sources.

PSG players will be wearing home shirts with Notre-Dame de Paris logos this weekend after the fire that ravaged the iconic French landmark at the start of the week, sources have confirmed.

The idea was spawned by the golden tributes printed by Foot-Store on PSG's away kit, but Sunday's gesture will involve the home colours, as well as possible front and back mentions.

Previously, following the 2015 Paris Attacks, PSG wore shirts with Je Suis Paris across the front for a short period of time.
