Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window, and Transfer Talk has the updates on all the latest rumours.
Madrid moving on from Hazard
Hot on the heels of reports that uncertainty surrounds the futures of a host of Chelsea stars comes the news that Real Madrid may opt not to bid for Eden Hazard.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent months, but the London Evening Standard says Madrid's focus on him could be fading.
Although Madrid "were expected to step up their interest, it is understood that they have yet to make any form of inquiry to Chelsea or the Belgium international's entourage and are not in any rush to do so."
The report says "Hazard's form has dipped and the Madrid hierarchy are not sure whether to proceed, particularly as they already have a similar talent in Marco Asensio, who is five years younger."
Chelsea do not want to sell, with speculation suggesting they would want an offer of more than £100 million to even consider doing so, and remain hopeful that they can still agree a contract extension.
Meanwhile, the Londoners "have stepped up their bid to land Turkish goalkeeping prodigy Berke Ozer," according to the Sun.
Altinordu player Ozer, a Turkey Under-21 international, is also reported to be interesting Barcelona and Manchester City, but the report says the Blues "have sent coaches Eddie Newton and Christophe Lollichon to monitor him."
Clubs eye Austin as Saints struggle
Southampton have serious concerns about staying in the Premier League but striker Charlie Austin needn't share them, the Mirror reports.
It says Austin "will be a man in demand if his struggling side fail to beat the drop," with Bournemouth and Leicester keen to sign him.
Aston Villa, battling for promotion from the Championship, are also keeping an eye on the situation and the Mirror says the Saints "will struggle to hold on to Austin, who is still their top scorer this season despite missing three months from December with a hamstring injury."
Bournemouth are said to be particularly keen, with manager Eddie Howe having been an admirer of Austin since his days in non-league football.
The Cherries could see Benik Afobe join Wolves permanently after impressing on loan, while Callum Wilson and Josh King may also move on, making room for a new striker.
But Austin will also have the option to link up again with Leicester's former Southampton boss Claude Puel.
