Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey emerges as shock summer target for Chelsea

Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window, and Transfer Talk has the updates on all the latest rumours.

Chelsea eye shock Ramsey swoop

Chelsea are keen to raid Arsenal again this summer with a move for Aaron Ramsey being lined up as his contract approaches its final year.

The Blues landed Olivier Giroud in January, signing the France international for £18 million after Antonio Conte's doubts over Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi -- who joined Borussia Dortmund on loan.

And the Mirror believes the Wales international is now on Chelsea's radar, with the Gunners likely to be under pressure to sell this summer should he not extend his contract, in order to avoid any uncertainty creeping into next season again.

Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil's contract situations provided a distraction this term, meaning Ramsey's future will likely be a priority in the coming weeks.

Chelsea concerns grow over Hazard exit

Chelsea fear Eden Hazard will push to leave the club this summer despite Conte's probable exit.

The Belgian has cut a discontented figure in recent weeks, particularly when asked to play as a striker, which has left him isolated and unable to get on the ball.

The Blues will attempt to convince Hazard to stay by offering him £300,000 per week, claims the Mirror, which would make him the club's highest paid player, though Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the situation carefully.

The French club are also likely to make Conte, over Jose Mourinho, their first choice to replace Unai Emery this summer, who has failed to guide the club to the latter stages of the Champions League once again.

Real switch attention from Courtois to Alisson

Chelsea have another potential loss in Thibaut Courtois, whose contract is set to enter its final year, but they've received a boost with the news that Real Madrid are turning their attention towards Alisson Becker.

The Roma goalkeeper is now Florentino Perez's top target to upgrade on Keylor Navas, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazilian, who has been linked with Liverpool, has shone for the Giallorossi on their way to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Any potential sale will see Roma make a huge profit on the £6.6m they paid Internacional in 2016 for his services, and the Birmingham Mail claims the Italians have lined up Toulouse's Alban Lafont as a replacement.

Juventus target Gimenez to upgrade defence

Juventus are ready to strengthen at the back once more with Corriere dello Sport reporting that Atletico Madrid star Jose Maria Gimenez is on their summer wish list.

The Uruguayan centre-back could rejuvenate a veteran backline, who proved their steeliness once again in the second leg of the last-16 Champions League tie with Tottenham.

The Old Lady lost Leonardo Bonucci last summer and while his absence has not been heavily felt yet, Medhi Benatia, who was involved in a row with Massimiliano Allegri during this week's game with Atalanta, is not seen as a long-term solution.

Gimenez has fallen down the pecking order over the last year under Diego Simeone, but Juve are prepared to offer the 23-year-old a fresh start.

Tap-ins

- Arsenal are set to offer Mohamed Elneny a new contract just seven months after attempting to sell the Egyptian.

The Mirror claims Arsene Wenger will attempt to tie down the former Basel star beyond the two years remaining on his contract after emerging as a useful squad player since Francis Coquelin's January departure to Valencia.

- Tuttosport says Napoli and Roma are willing to take a chance on Mario Balotelli when his Nice contract expires at the end of the season.

The Italian striker has rebuilt his reputation in France, recapturing his touch in front of goal with an incredible 39 goals in all competition a for Les Aiglons over the last two seasons.

- Sydney FC are confident that star playmaker Milos Ninkovic won't be leaving the Sky Blues anytime soon, according to SBS.

The Serbia international has lit up the A-League since arriving in 2015, but with Adrian Mierzejewski set to take up more room in Sydney FC's salary cap next season, Ninkovic may be squeezed out of the defending champions' squad.
