John Terry has made something of a habit of turning up in the most unexpected places over the years. Indeed, having politely rejected a move to Spartak Moscow over Instagram just a week or two ago, Terry showed up out of the blue to watch the Russian side in action against Rostov on Sunday. The ex-Chelsea captain was seen mingling with Spartak fans outside the Otkrytiye Arena before kick-off. For the record, Spartak went on to lose 1-0 in front of their home crowd, many of whom were perhaps left wishing that Terry had been out on the pitch rather than up in the stands. Of course, probably the most famous example of Terry's penchant for shoe-horning himself into any given situation came in 2012, after Chelsea's victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. The centre-back was seen celebrating and lifting the trophy dressed head-to-toe in his full kit despite not playing in the match due to suspension. Terry later claimed that he only wore his entire kit due to a UEFA directive, but that still doesn't explain why he had shinpads on too. It would appear that the 37-year-old, who is currently without a club, had a busy weekend having turned up unannounced in Russia shortly after grabbing a selfie or two at the Ryder Cup in Paris earlier that day. Maybe this is all part of Terry's Europe-wide hunt for a new club: initial negotiations with PSG in the morning followed by a second round of talks with Spartak around tea-time. Question is, where in the world will he turn up next?
